“Visited 3/13/26 I have a few favorite bookstores, this is definitely one of them!!! The two young ladies working were super sweet! They had such a positive, genuine and upbeat vibe about them! Very welcoming! I had asked one of the ladies for recommendations on a book, I let her know my prefered genre and she was able to recommend a few titles and was knowledgeable about both!!!!!!!!!! Customer Service on point ⭐️ One of the things I loved the most is the employees wrote on a card a little bit about a book that they loved, and why they enjoyed it so much! I think that is so helpful and cool! And the variety of books they have to offer is amazing! ⭐️ Of course one of my top things I notice is cleanliness! Very clean and well organized! Definitely ⭐️ I love the look of the place. I am not sure how to accurately describe it, but it is like a warehouse garage type building. Very unique. They have a comfortable sitting area to read or hang with friends! I love unique!!!! ⭐️ Overall really enjoyed the positive atmosphere and the unique setting! ⭐️ ✅️Jax Approved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Pen and Pink is one of the coolest finds from the Indy’s Indie Book Crawl. A small store packed with an impressive amount of unique finds. The lady running the store was kind, energetic, and super helpful. I bought my first blind date with a book and can’t wait to read it!”

“Barnes & Noble at River Crossing in Indianapolis is hands down one of my favorite places to go when I need to unplug and completely transform my mindset. From the moment you walk in, the space just invites you to slow down and explore. The aisles are expansive, thoughtfully laid out, and the displays are incredibly easy to follow—you never feel overwhelmed, just inspired.
The children’s section is absolutely magnificent, with so many inviting areas where kids (and adults!) can truly get lost in books. There are countless nooks throughout the store that encourage discovery, imagination, and quiet reflection.
What truly elevates this location, though, is the staff. The store manager is consistently accommodating and genuinely eager to assist, which makes every visit feel welcoming and personal. And if you’re lucky enough to cross paths with Patrick—ask for him! He is the bomb. Knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does, Patrick embodies everything great customer service should be.
This Barnes & Noble isn’t just a bookstore—it’s an experience. Highly recommend.”
“Incredible shop. I was sent home with a curated stack of books after offering pointed vagueries on the world and writing. Funny enough, I had to find this place by AI. Google has become a graveyard of functionality, these short tombstones are the only remnant. Keep going!”
“A few friends and myself visited this place recently and while the place was really nice and we enjoyed the vibe and the message they bring, I would say we were all disappointed with the mystery book items. These were books wrapped in paper with drawings to give you clues as to what it is. They, I believe, were 8/9$ a piece…well they left the original price on the book which was 5$. Kind of felt a little duped. But would still recommend a visit.”

“When we walked in they were hosting an impromptu mtg tourney, there were books and collectibles everywhere, and they made beer as well. Can't ask for more! Staff was super helpful and friendly.”
“A nice selection of books in every aspect and genre. Unfortunately it didn’t have the particular study Bible I was looking for but the front desk lady was really kind and helpful. This particular store didn’t have a coffee shop or much else for sale unlike other Books A Million locations I’ve been to (such as portable writing tables) but it’s a really good store nonetheless.”

“What a lovely store. I went in there to buy a journal for my niece and it was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The lady was so helpful and guided me through the store. I appreciated every moment of it. My heart was heavy that day but you made it more easy for me as I left with a happy heart. God's angels are everywhere.”

The only problem was determining where the theater was within the University. First time there so I was very unsure and had a very hard time locating the theater.”

“This review is just an update for what has happened to the bookstore at ivy tech.They have some game stuff, organizers, calculators, notebooks, and book pick up. Also the bookstore no longer sells books for classes they are now provided with tuition and you just have to place and order for it.”
