“I had a great experience shopping here this morning! One gentleman that works here saw I was having trouble getting my son out of the cart (as sometimes I’m too short to pick him up and out of the seat) and he helped me. He also helped me pick up my water bottle cases and brought them over to the other cart. He also noticed the milk jug I grabbed was leaking, so he went and got me a different one. He needs a raise for sure going above and beyond to help his customers!”

“Went and bought 3 half priced items at 2:17 pm and only one was half priced when i went over the receipt and 2 were not so i called them asking if they’d refund me and Paul G. Said to come down and bring my receipt and they would give me my refund so I drove down and spoke to Paul again and he said the 50% off stickers shouldn’t have been out yet and that they are only active after 2:30 pm and he didn’t know why they were out so I basically wasted my gas for nothing and I don’t know why he couldn’t say that over the phone overall upset with this visit
Update : customer service contacted me and we got it all squared away thank you Horizon for making things right”

“Received a $25 coupon to go to this commissary in the mail from the government. was pleasantly surprised at the selections and especially the pricing, we saved over $100 vs shopping at our usual local stores. Will definitely shop there again.. Honestly did not know this commissary existed. Overall a very positive shopping experience and next door was a class 6 and their prices were also fantastic. Worth the drive..”

“If you want to prioritize affordability instead of convenience, Aldi's is for you. There's a really good variety of products but you may have to supplement with another full service grocery store down the street as they haven't quite got everything yet but I'm sure they will. They have a lot of unique finds - Irish cream cheesecake and the BEST gelato a grocery store can carry to name a couple. Store is clean, staff aren't really walking around offering to help so it can take a while to get acclimated, but once you do, the prices can't be beat. Be prepared for the following: Bring a quarter... you have to pay a deposit for your cart. Bring your own bags. Bag your own groceries. All small prices to pay for the convenience.”
“I love the fresh seafood selection! Amazing! Also, it’s a great place to get many of the ingredients required for ethnic recipes of many kinds. Some of it can be pricy, but other items are really reasonable. You can also eat at one of the little cafes inside. Can be overwhelming! But in a good way.”

“I love Myers and I’ve been shopping there for 25 years, but the same issue still is in place as it always has been. The store just cannot seem to keep everything stocked. They are often out of what I want or I end up getting the last item on the shelf. Very few organic options in the baking aisle!”
“Mi Gente is full of surprises.
From the name, I expected it to be just another Mexican supermarket. While there is certainly a predominance of Hispanic items, there is a large Carribbean (Jamaican and Haitian) section, plenty of African items, a substantial produce section, live seafood and more. The Southeast Asian aisle was quite limited though, to be honest.
From the outside, I expected it to be a small to mid-sized market but it was big and also included a boba tea shop, an ice cream place, a restaurant and more.
From past experience with International Supermarkets, I expected many items not to have clearly labelled prices but that was not the case, either. Things were not cheap but at least, there were no surprises at the cash register.
Pro Tip
If you are looking for FuFu pancakes, couscous, and other African items, this has one of the best selections that I have seen in Indianapolis (on par with Saraga Supermarket) but if you are seeking Thai, Cambodian, Burmese and other Southeast Asian items, you may be disappointed”

“I really enjoy going to Dollar General. Each time I walk in this store the employee (s) at the checkout always speak. When you see or pass an employee while shopping they always speak and ask if you need help finding anything. Kim the manager runs a great store! I prefer stopping in this store verses going to the grocery or Walmart .”

“Save A Lot used to be my go to store for meats, produce, spices, and other food staples. I gave them four stars because their prices prior to 2023 were the best I could find for my meats. I could always count on them to stretch my meat budget for the month. My cash food budgets were sustainable until shortly COVID 19 quarantine restrictions were lifted and issues with supply and demand logistics smoothed out.”

“If you love wine, then this place is for you. As soon as you walk in you immediately feel ready to enjoy some wine. The layout of the store is welcoming and the staff is very helpful pairing you with a wine that would suit your pallet. There is also gourmet food available to enjoy with wine. “First time trying Authentic African Food and it was so good, my daughter was giving two thumbs up after every bite. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had the lamb and chicken with couscous and sides and it was so flavorful and good. I can't wait to go back tomorrow !!!!”

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Leo’s for a while, now, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Wonderful options, local products, all the essentials. Clean, organized, and clearly cared for. Staff is friendly and helpful, management is even better. They have a new manager working there, Aileen, who is a complete delight! Had the pleasure of chatting with her last week, and it’s so excellent to see a good business thriving and adding knowledgeable and competent people such as Aileen as they grow and expand.
