I looked online and Ace hardware was the only store in town with the part in stock. I drove across town and this was my first time in the store. “I found Liberty Hardwoods through a local professional cabinet maker and great friend two years ago. I decided to make my own kitchen from scratch in my own small woodshop, and something like three loads later, total under $2k, it's finally done! Liberty was flexible and accommodating as I was 4 hrs away in extreme NE Iowa. Some hardwood (stiles, rails, etc) was ordered sight unseen by grade and size alone, and it arrived and was perfect - no scenanigans. The ply selection is on another level entirely from big box stores. For an equivalent amount, Liberty will deliver, but not only that, the species selection is limitless. And not only species, but thickness, core type, and even veneer type and quality. Big box provides more cheap rotary cut than anything, so it was awesome finding affordable, high quality A1 plain sawn veneer options that look great and will stand the test of time. I even tried some rustic veneer ply, and that was such an awesome looking option on another project. Thank you, Joe!!!”

“I come up here to these guys all the time since they opened up. At first because it was convenient because I live nearby, but honestly these guys are even worth a few extra minutes drive.
Most recently I dropped off my mower because it was burning a ridiculous amount of oil after I changed the oil last fall. Turns out I overfilled it, rookie mistake. The service manager Martin took care of it for me, and when I asked for tips on how to take better care of it he was polite and encouraging. He didn’t gouge me an arm and a leg, either — and he even cleaned up my mower for me.
They sharpen my knives, too, at a very reasonable price. I’d probably buy frozen yogurt here if they sold it, honestly.
