“This past fall my vehicle was totaled in a car accident. Without any hesitation I chose Cassill Collision Center, despite it being out of the responsible parties insurance network, to do the damage assessment. I received outstanding customer service. Onna got me into a rental the same day, took the time to explain the entire process and answered my many questions, and she even printed my kids multiple coloring pages to keep them busy while we took care of the car stuff. Derek did a great job communicating and keeping my updated on the progress and process. When the responsible parties Insurance company recieved the final assessment from Cassill, the insurance adjuster told me that it was the most thorough, detailed, and organized assessment that he had seen in his 16+ years of working in Insurance. My car was deemed a total loss. Onna, Derek, and the team at Cassill Collision Center was phenomenal at ensuring that I was well taken care of and they all worked around my schedule as a single parent while navigating this nightmare of a situation. When it came time to turn in the rental and start looking for a new vehicle I hopped on over to Cassill Motors. I've heard great things about all the staff, but Krissi is a name I have heard repeatedly in several circles. She has a reputation for being incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, transparent, genuine, and committed to finding something that works for each individual. As a single mom, I didn't want to be pressured into spending outside of my budget and I wanted someone who would meet me where I was at and help advocate for me, and that's exactly what Krissi did. Krissi helped me find a safe, reliable car for me and my two kids, well within my budget the same day. I was able to turn in the rental vehicle I was using from Cassill Collision Center when I purchased my new car from Krissi. I had my two young kiddos with me in for the entire process, and Krissi went above and beyond, as well as the rest of the incredible crew at Cassill, to make us all feel welcomed, taken care of, and valued. Krissi had crafts for my kids, the staff turned on some shows for them to watch in their incredibly convenient playroom, we ate our McDonald's lunch in their dining area, and when it was time to go, they sent us with goodie bags, freshly popped popcorn and balloons and a lot of reassurance to reach out if we needed anything at all. Crystal made all the paperwork and payment process painless and easy. She was so incredibly organized and did a great job explaining the whole process. Krissi reached out and checked in within the week after we purchased and has been great at answering my questions when they've popped up. I cannot express it enough how Krissi and the staff at Cassill Motors and Cassill Collision Center took one of the most stressful events and made it into such a positive expierence. You simply cannot and will not find better customer service. At Cassill, as cheesy as it sounds, treat you like they would treat their most precious loved ones.”

“I used this company for transportation to my son's graduation ceremony. They were on time, the driver, Bill, was courteous, friendly, professional, and careful. I have utilized other transportation companies and Special K's is the only one that was capable, and willing to transport me, and my bariatric, wide, power wheelchair. The other companies did not have lifts, only ramps, or did not want to deal with a bariatric patient in a power wheelchair.I am thankful for Special K's.”

“Overall great experience and always affordable! We rented a Hyundai Santa Fe with very low mileage, and even though we arrived close to 11:00 PM, the staff was incredibly friendly. Navigation tip: It’s an open lot, so turn right immediately as you exit the doors and keep walking to find the Alamo row. There was a small windshield crack (under an inch), and while their policy only requires reporting damage over two inches as per their form, I had them note it on the record before I took the vehicle from the lot just to be on the safe side. Returning the car was a breeze—just parked it in the same lot, walked over, and handed in the keys!”

“Rent-A-Center Southwest Edgewood road. Is bar none the place to get your washers or dryers or appliances! When was the last time you had to find and purchasing an appliance?
Sunshine and her crew are bar none! If you want a fun relaxing time picking out your appliances? You have to go to Rent-A-Center Southwest cedar Rapids and Edgewood road! These people break the mole when it comes to customer service relationships! I would even go on a limb to state that I guarantee 100% you'll be satisfied! I am also not getting paid for this review whatsoever! I also do not know one single soul at Rent-A-Center.
I have called numerous appliance store rental places in cedar rapids. I just wish I would have started with Rent-A-Center on the southwest of Edgewood road first!”

“Overall staff were incredibly kind and worked hard to get everyone taken care of as quickly as possible. However recommend - Take a bit more time checking fluids and interior cleaning between rentals. Vehicle had dog hair and smelled of wet dogs. Also clean vacuum so the smokey wet dog smells don’t get transferred to other rental vehicles; this is especially bad in the winter months”

“I bought a car here a few weeks ago and I am so happy they were recommended to me. Dan was so helpful and very honest. He very clear and honest on my options and their prices. I needed to go back the next day to drop the old car manual off and ask about something on the new car. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I went to and it did not feel right, but when I walked in the Budget rental shop it was so welcoming. I will definitely go bad here in the future.”

“We had a great experience with Avis at the Cedar Rapids airport. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful and gave me a choice of cars within our chosen category, as well as the option to upgrade.

We were informed that if we left the fueling of the car up to them, the price per gallon was actually less than the going gas station rate. After seeing other reviews complaining about this, we checked our final bill and everything seemed to be in order. There was no additional surcharge that I can see for the service and the total fuel price seems in line with what it would have taken to fill our tank. (We returned the car close to empty.)

“I was a bit hesitant to rent from Dollar Car Rental because of some negative reviews, but I’m glad I gave them a chance! I paid around $260 for 10 days (gas not included), and the car was excellent. I didn’t have any issues, except I needed to add air to the tires, which is understandable after driving about 2,100 miles.
The drop-off process was super easy, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely rent from Dollar again. Overall, I highly recommend them—just remember to fill up the gas before returning the car, as it’s about $10.99 per gallon, which is standard for most rental companies.”
