“Have always found the staff here super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Was in the other day to have them replace the battery on the remote key fob for my mom's Honda (which they'd repaired for me on a previous occasion when the key was coming loose from the encasement) and cut some house key spares; they handled it quickly and professionally, which is why I still prefer getting stuff like this done here despite moving out of the neighborhood over a dozen years ago -- knowing it'll get done right is well worth the extra driving.”

“I flew into Des Moines for a wedding and brought a peace lily for a friend who was also attending. I had it wrapped in a damp paper towel for the flight, and the owner was so kind and helped me get it into a grower’s pot. Such a small thing, but it meant a lot to me! The shop was so nice and had so many beautiful plants. I’m so glad I stopped in and really appreciated the help and kindness!”

“They gave a pretty good selection that saves me a long drive out to big box stores. The last time I filled propane, it was expensive, they now charge a flat rate. I recommend going somewhere that charges by the pound.”

“I have been a customer with these guys for years! Larry was my guy, not only did he do great work with the machines, but I would like to stop by the shop just to see him! Super knowledgeable and he could repair anything! My friend Larry recently passed away and the shop is in great hands with Dan and Tony! They provide excellent services and there's no better place to get quality repairs and at a reasonable price. A great Southside small business!”

“This greenhouse is consistently well stocked, has huge selection and competitive prices. The quality of plants is worth paying a little more than the box stores. As expected, supplies dwindle by early June but you can still find most plants you may want.”

“We are in the market for some arborvitae’s, we called and spoke to the owner. He was VERY knowledgeable. He helped us compare the two varieties we had in mind by telling us in detail the pros and cons of both, similarities and differences. He had very comparable and competitive prices. We weren’t rushed off the phone, he took the time, explained everything, answered questions and we never felt pressured to make a quick decision. Highly recommend!!”

“Home Depot always has the products I need. Purchased Cedar boards, acrylic glass and as always, another needed tool. This store had employees available to help. Some other popular stores you have to for the places they hide.”
