“My favorite grocery store and probably the cleanest and best kept store in the city. I love the service of the people who work there. And that they help you to the car with your groceries. While their prices may not be as cheap as Walmart or Aldi i would much prefer going to this store.”

“I stopped in once while visiting Des Moines and was so grateful for the healthy selection of good quality meats! The staff was very welcoming, didn’t make me feel rushed, and were so helpful with sharing information about cuts and sourcing and quality. Everything in the store seems super trustworthy and clean and I had a delicious Delmonico steak last night :) thank you!”

“Been here twice now and it's always a good experience. They have a truck staging area where you park and then call the number that's posted on various signs around the parking area. Once you get checked in, they'll call you when they have a door for you. Pull up to the gate, go inside with your papers and they'll give you a door assignment and tell you how to get there.

If you don't have bolt cutters for your seal, they have some in the guard house.

Once you're at your dock door, open your trailer doors and PUT YOUR BILLS IN THE TRLR. Hahaha. I forgot that part last time and after the unloader was done, he came out to my truck and signed my bills. I apologized and laughed it off as I handed him the papers and he was very nice and good natured about it. He coulda got pissed at me and had an attitude for my lapse in protocol and making him walk the decent distance all the way around to my truck, and he would have been justified to be miffed. But he wasn't and it was greatly appreciated that he had such a stellar attitude.

Once you get the green light, you're good to go, papers will be in the back of your trailer. d(^_^)”

“I can't speak to the grocery store itself, but the haunted house in the basement is fantastic! Hasn't changed much over the years, but it is hard to improve on perfection. Narrow hallways and crawl spaces. Near complete darkness with helpful, dim lights here and there. Jump scares tastefully done!”

“Unloaded on time ever time I come here. Helpful clerk. No overnight oarking, but there are at least 2 truck stops at exit 89 on I 35, about 4 miles southeast of here.”
