“A great place to get nearly anything you could need for the farm. The staff is friendly and the store is well stocked. They struggle bit with getting people through the checkout lines and sometimes the staff at checkout is pretty limited, so I just try to make sure I’m not in a hurry when I stop in. Other than that, it’s a great place to get things that are hard to find in other stores because they have a pretty big inventory.”

“I had such a blast looking through the racks here and found some incredible deals on designer clothes that I usually see for way higher prices. The store was really well-organized, so even though there were a lot of items to look at, it didn't feel overwhelming to find my size in the jeans and jackets section. I ended up finding a pair of high-quality boots and a really soft sweater that I know I will wear all the time. The checkout line moved surprisingly fast for a busy Saturday, and the staff was very polite and wrapped everything up carefully. It is definitely my favorite spot to go when I want to update my wardrobe without spending a fortune.”

“First things first. Called the store to see if they were dog friendly and to my surprise they are! Took my four legged fur baby inside to cool down and chill.
Originally came here to find camping clothes for my kiddo. They had a lot to choose from.
Also had a visiting manger in the Automotive department help us find a new key fob.
Everyone that day went above and beyond for us.

“I like this store but limit my visits to a couple a year unless I’m looking for something in particular. Recently I’ve noticed an abundance of items, so much so it feels like too much for the size of the store and products sitting on carts with no place to go. The clearance section really should be a half off of more section because 9x out of 10 the items are broken beyond use or repair and should really just be thrown away. Good finds for decent prices. I wish some of the art and mirrors weren’t $150 + because the quality really isn’t worth that. Some of the furniture is decent but others are poor quality for high prices. If anything it’s more for gifty items and decor that you won’t feel guilty for donating or reselling in a couple years when you want to change a theme. The Ames store is a much better size with more selection!
They have Jim Shore now! Seems more expensive than online though and I saw one that wasn’t in the locked cabinet that was broken in 3 places and was only discounted $5. I should have taken a picture!”

“This is my preferred TJ Maxx. The shelves are stocked and employees are very busy working to organize. Now if we could only do something about the parking lot, it is extremely dangerous and an accident waiting to happen.”

“Target Merle Hay is a-ok. Smaller version of the "super" Target that is only 5 min away. The layout of this location is different from the rest. It's also located and attached to the mall. Grocery can be found here. This location had some items in stock that others would be fully stocked. Nice collection of everything that a larger store would have: Opalhouse, Hearth and Hand, seasonal clothing brands, vegan items, electronics, bikes. I can tell they stock less of the items due to space. Service is ok. I tend to see same cashiers and customer service managers. I hardly come here but I have found that if other locations are out of something, I can find it here via Target app. Drive up pick up is offered here. Parking lot can be crazy. Layout is similar to others in DSM but just smaller.”
“Von Maur has been my favorite store for more than 30 years. You will NEVER find better service than what you get at Von Maur. Their credit card service is top notch, as well as their gift wrapping. I love everything about Von Maur.”

“It’s part of the TJ Maxx companies which I love. They have very similar items to TJ Maxx. Sometimes if I can’t find an item I saw at TJ Maxx, I go to Marshall’s to see if they have the item I want. They have unique and interesting products. They sell clothing, shoes, bedding, towels, kitchen wares, gift supplies and luggage. If you find something you like, better buy it. It won’t be there when you come back. I never go to the mall anymore.”

“I ordered mermaid-themed cupcakes from the bakery. They exceeded my expectations, so in March I went again to the bakery to see what they could do for a safari jungle-themed baby shower. Justin, who had done the mermaid cupcakes, was so helpful. He made the most awesome jungle animals decorated on cupcakes that matched the dinnerware (See attached photos). I was blown away with how darn cute they were! Please give Justin the recognition he deserves. He is top notch! Rarely do you find someone who goes above & beyond expectations & is so willing to do so; and with such professional & eye-catching creations. Target is so lucky to have such a. talented individual in their bakery! He has my business!”
