Southside Pet Hospital
457 KS-7, OlatheWe brought our 20 yr old cat in to have him checked out. The vet told us he was quite ill and in kidney failure and should have him put down. We made arrangements the next day to bring him in to be euthanized. The staff was helpful and supportive. They had a room prepared for us and allowed us to stay with our kitty as long as we wanted after the procedure. They have a pawprint memorial to send us, which we are looking forward to since this was a cherished pet for our family. I would highly recommend Southside.

(He's prone to them) I've had my boy since he was a kitten back in 2014 and seeing him in pain gutted me. I didn't want my boy to suffer but I wasn't sure where to go. Thankfully, I sent my boy to Blackbob and they took such amazing care of him. We've got a new baby at home so funds are tight, but Blackbob worked with us financially so that we could care for our sweet boy. I am so grateful for the care they extended to our Cheeby. He was nothing but purrs when he got home, and I could tell he felt so much better. Thank you for your wonderful care, Blackbob. My family and Cheeby boy appreciate it <3

Cedar Creek Pet Hospital & Urgent Vet Care in Olathe
23700 College Blvd, OlatheWe had moved here from out of state and were in need of finding a vet. Our dog had blood in his urine and when we called, they were able to get him in right away. After running tests and a cat scan, they diagnosed him with bladder stones and was going to require surgery. The whole staff there was so friendly and accommodating and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of his surgery. We are thrilled to have found such a wonderful new veterinarian and thats the only place we will take Winston from now on.

They didn't seen to care whether you had a scheduled appointment or not, it seems to run as first-come, first-served, regardless. It is a bit frustrating when you've taken time to register and sign-in beforehand and there is a line of walk-ups who push your 5 minute appointment to be 20 - 30 minutes late.
Also, the day I went there was no signage directing you towards the clinic, you just have to wander thru the store until you find them setup behind the fish tank area near the reptiles.

She shared a kennel with her father and was attacked almost daily. She had wounds and scars both physically and mentally. When she first arrived at our home she attacked our male because she saw all other dogs as a threat, understandably.Emily came to our home and gave us the tools and knowledge we needed to be able to work with Bella to make this placement successful. After implementing all that we were taught she started to come around after a few weeks. Now we are 4 years in to owning Bella and you would never know where she came from. 1062 W Santa Fe St dr, OlatheCasual foodie is by far my favorite food truck in Kansas City! My husband and I would go once a week to Red Crow Brewery for both the food and drinks offered when we lived in Olathe.
With this being our favorite food truck, we wanted to use them to cater our wedding reception. Corey and Maddy were absolute pleasures to work with. They did 2 meet ups at Red Crow. 1 - to figure out how we wanted our reception to go. They worked with us to achieve our vision. 2 - met a month out to discuss final details and timeline.
The day of - our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the food. There was barely ever a line and all food was hot and fresh. They even prepped our meal before everyone's, so we could have an intimate meal post-ceremony.
We also booked their dessert truck - Disco Gelato. It has light and music as well as an area to sit in. All the guests thought this added touch was so cool and unique! The gelato was very delicious! (There were also vegan options!)
This is a food truck I'll continue to go out of my way to support. I highly recommend them for a casual bite or reserving for a special event (weddings, graduations, work outings, etc.).

I asked Scotty if he was working an event , he replied yes and gave me his business card and told me his schedule is online. I told him let me finish my run and i will be back to get a hotdog. I came back , told him what i wanted on my hot dog, i was about to pay when he said “ it’s on me today”. Thank you Scotty for not only making a good hotdog but a great first impression! I ate the hotdog in 2 bites, im not kidding it was soo good!! Will recommend Scotty’s to friends/family and my job! ?

25600 W Valley Pkwy, OlatheFirst time visiting and we enjoyed the drinks but what made our night was how friendly Sam was. She was so welcoming and positive about this place. We came in at 3:00 and had a drink and had such a good experience that we came back later in the evening for another beer and dinner. Unfortunately the kitchen closed before we came back but this place is very cute with lots of different seating areas inside and out. We will be back.

Olathe Animal Shelter
505 E Sunvale Dr, OlatheA clean, well-run, and friendly animal shelter. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I was in the area for work and I took some time to meet a couple of the older cats. These senior cats have a lot of love to give and were very energetic. I wish I had taken pictures because they were so beautiful. On one hand, I'd love to visit them again someday day in the future, but it would be just the best if they were adopted into a loving home. They have beautiful kittens here too, one orange kitten in particular caught my eye. I'm a cat dad, so I'm mentioning the felines here, but there are also dogs here as well. I will visit again sometime in the future and will update with more information and pictures. Definitely recommend.
