This is not the case with Dr. Sund, she is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and treats our pets like family. Our dogs truly enjoy seeing her. She takes her time, gets to know our pets and us as well. We trust her completely and value her knowledge and care for our pets. I cannot say enough good things about her and I would recommend her to anyone.

We’ve been with Murlen Vet for years and the staff are amazing. We had to have a dying pup put down and although it was traumatic for me, they couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful. Ridgeview Animal Hospital
816 N Ridgeview Rd, OlatheRidgeview Animal Hospital took my kitty in when Urgent Vet wouldn’t or couldn’t because I was not able to or willing to pay $5000-$7000 for an obstruction surgery. The first thing I received at Ridgeview was a tender welcome and understand ear. They took me in at a time I was most desperate! They have the best bedside manner - Dr Beth was so nice and caring to me! Unfortunately for me, my kitty passed during the surgery, most likely because so much time had gone by messing with other urgent care places before finding Ridgeview. Not only did they package my kitty up with care to take home to bury, but they offered condolences, a big warm hug, a shoulder to cry on and charged an incredible small fee compared to Urgent Vet. Urgent Vet was referred to me by my vet but as of today, I am switching all my animals to Ridgeview! I am so impressed by not only their care but their prices too! And they told me they care about the pets and people first- not the money! Thank you Ridgeview!

They didn't seen to care whether you had a scheduled appointment or not, it seems to run as first-come, first-served, regardless. It is a bit frustrating when you've taken time to register and sign-in beforehand and there is a line of walk-ups who push your 5 minute appointment to be 20 - 30 minutes late.
Also, the day I went there was no signage directing you towards the clinic, you just have to wander thru the store until you find them setup behind the fish tank area near the reptiles.

She shared a kennel with her father and was attacked almost daily. She had wounds and scars both physically and mentally. When she first arrived at our home she attacked our male because she saw all other dogs as a threat, understandably.Emily came to our home and gave us the tools and knowledge we needed to be able to work with Bella to make this placement successful. After implementing all that we were taught she started to come around after a few weeks. Now we are 4 years in to owning Bella and you would never know where she came from. She is the most gentle and loving dog. THANK YOU Emily for helping our family.

Fetchers Play & Stay
585 N Central St, OlatheOur pup Nettie had an overnight stay last month and it was an all around great experience. Due to some remodeling, we needed her to go somewhere during the day for a week. We are on day 2 of 5 and she is doing amazing. She comes home at night exhausted from all of the play! I have watched her on the webcam a few times and every time I see her she is wagging her tail and seems to enjoy being around other pups!

Casual Foodie Truck
1062 W Santa Fe St dr, OlatheCasual foodie is by far my favorite food truck in Kansas City! My husband and I would go once a week to Red Crow Brewery for both the food and drinks offered when we lived in Olathe.
With this being our favorite food truck, we wanted to use them to cater our wedding reception. Corey and Maddy were absolute pleasures to work with. They did 2 meet ups at Red Crow. 1 - to figure out how we wanted our reception to go. They worked with us to achieve our vision. 2 - met a month out to discuss final details and timeline.
The day of - our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the food. There was barely ever a line and all food was hot and fresh. They even prepped our meal before everyone's, so we could have an intimate meal post-ceremony.
We also booked their dessert truck - Disco Gelato. It has light and music as well as an area to sit in. All the guests thought this added touch was so cool and unique! The gelato was very delicious! (There were also vegan options!)
This is a food truck I'll continue to go out of my way to support. I highly recommend them for a casual bite or reserving for a special event (weddings, graduations, work outings, etc.).

I asked Scotty if he was working an event , he replied yes and gave me his business card and told me his schedule is online. I told him let me finish my run and i will be back to get a hotdog. I came back , told him what i wanted on my hot dog, i was about to pay when he said “ it’s on me today”. Thank you Scotty for not only making a good hotdog but a great first impression! I ate the hotdog in 2 bites, im not kidding it was soo good!! Will recommend Scotty’s to friends/family and my job! ?

Olathe Animal Shelter
505 E Sunvale Dr, OlatheA clean, well-run, and friendly animal shelter. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I was in the area for work and I took some time to meet a couple of the older cats. These senior cats have a lot of love to give and were very energetic. I wish I had taken pictures because they were so beautiful. On one hand, I'd love to visit them again someday day in the future, but it would be just the best if they were adopted into a loving home. They have beautiful kittens here too, one orange kitten in particular caught my eye. I'm a cat dad, so I'm mentioning the felines here, but there are also dogs here as well. I will visit again sometime in the future and will update with more information and pictures. Definitely recommend.
