“I had a wonderful experience working with LoraLee. As a real estate investor, I was trying to find a replacement exterior door for a single family rental property The door I needed was not a standard size, which made finding a replacement a little more challenging. I contacted Builders Surplus and spoke to LoraLee. I explained to her what I was looking for. Rather than simply say to me that the size I needed was not readily available, LoraLee said she would see what she could find out and let me know. Within 24 hours LornaLee contacted me with a couple of optional doors along with the price for each. Ultimately we decided to take a different approach with the door that needed to be replaced. This said, I was very thankful and appreciative of LoraLee’s professionalism, responsiveness, and her genuine interest in helping me find a solution. Because of the great customer service I experienced with LoraLee, should we have a need in the future that possibly could be addressed by Builders Surplus, I definitely will contact them. “The man cashier was friendly and very helpful. I cant say that about the woman I asked for help, she was really unavailable to help. Her idea of helping was just point down the aisle.”

“Great store, lumber yard. I have found it much more convenient if buying something located in the outdoor lumber yard to purchase online so you can drive straight into the lumber yard, load up, and right back out.”

“Picked out carpet at Lowe’s. I believe a third party took over the project. We are not pleased. The seam is in the worst possible place and is very prominent. The men who actually put the carpet down tried every way possible to place the seam in a better place but couldn’t be done. My complaint is with those who cut the carpet. Our next project is new flooring in the entire lower level but Lowe’s will certainly not get the job.”

“I had to go here 4 times in 3 days. Each time the customer service was actually OUTSTANDING, like people literally going out of their way to help me. This is with the exception of one instance. In attempting to return something the man working the return desk was condescending, snarky and rude.”
