“If you're looking to remodel your kitchen I highly recommend builders surplus in Florence, ky. I first looked to the big box hardware stores. The answers that I received concerning doing the work with as little inconvenience as possible and in an a timely manner were not addressed. I then tried some independent contractors but was not satisfied or confident enough in their bids. I went to builders surplus where Michelle bowling provided me with an excellent contractor (blue valley construction). Hayden Humphrey, the co-owner assured me the work would be done in a timely manner with as little as inconvenience as possible. Michelle bowling became my personal assistant and helped me pick out everything I needed for my kitchen and dining room remodel. The information and organization builders surplus provided was met with great results. The manager designed my cabinets to provide extra storage space and I also picked up some counter space. The quality and timing of everything met or exceeded projections: custom cabinets delivered in just 4 weeks. The day after they arrived my contractor removed the old cabinets, countertops and flooring. He replaced the base cabinets and flooring, returning use of the kitchen and dining room in just two days. Sindhu granite america came in and Lazar measured for the countertops. the second week the contractor put in the upper cabinets and tile backsplash and granite america installed the countertops. All materials and workmanship met or exceeded expectations.”

“I’ve shopped here for 20+ years. More often than not, I’ve found what I needed. I’m only a little concerned about the freshness of the horsefeed lately. The brand I usually use is frequently out of date. I wish they would put all the older horsefeed on sale, get in fresh feed, and then rotate it better. Other than that, the staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well stocked (considering the supply shortages they’ve had to deal with). I still give the store 5 stars regardless of the horsefeed frustrations I have. And make sure you are in the neighbors club. It’s worth it! I’m always racking up $5 rewards !”

“Unexpected great experience. Walked in with the kiddos to discover they were hosting a kids building proj3ct. Needed to sign up ahead of time (check website for info) but they gave us some extra kits to do at home and were uber friendly. Really made pur day. Returns clerk matched the energy. 5/5 for sure!!!”

“I've been a customer since the Florence store opened and I love the low prices, the wide selection, and how easy it is to find things with the layout of the store and their item finder on the Menards app. But above everything else is their commitment to customer service. I recently realized that I had not received 3 different rebate vouchers (over $70 worth total). One of the rebates was almost a year ago. I contacted customer service and a few days later I received all 3 of my rebates... No questions asked. Truly amazing company.”
