“The only post office location I'll use. I'll drive out of my way to use this location over the others in my area. The staff is super friendly and professional. All others pale in comparison.”

“I've had nothing but good experiences with this post office. Are there lines sometimes? Sure. They move quickly, and the counter personnel are very accommodating and helpful. We just had a big snowstorm, and I saw the carrier stopping and getting out of the vehicle to reach mailboxes in the nearby neighborhood. They aren't required to scale mounds of snow and ice, but they did. Kudos and thank you for the extra effort.”

“Postal workers are unsung heroes. Literally every time I’m in here, someone is giving the person at the counter a hard time about something they’re unhappy about (something that is NOT the fault of the counter person), and the counter person is ALWAYS gracious, kind and patient. I would hate to have their job, and I’m so grateful they’re willing to do it. Thank you to everyone who works here at the Cherokee Branch?”
“They get 4 stars just for answering the phone, being polite and courteous, and HELPFUL, which is in stark contrast, completely opposite really, of the nearby New Albany branch, which will simply put you on hold for 5 minutes and then hang up, if they answer the phone at all. If I have outgoing mail of particular importance I always drive to this PO to drop it off, to make sure that it doesn't route thru the New Albany PO.”
“super nice & helpful staff! I came in after their walk-ins for passports ended thinking I had an appointment but unfortunately I did not. Despite this, the staff wasted no time allowing me to fill out an application and getting my application completed snd my picture taken very quickly! Wendy & Chapel were especially helpful, being very caring, polite, and helpful in answering any questions I had. I recommend this location to anyone needing passport services (but make an appointment if you can)”
“It was very busy, but the lady working at the desk was very friendly and efficient! It took us awhile to find (it’s in the back of the hardware store), but everything else was a breeze!”
“they ended up leaving my package at a different house since i was looking out for the updates and it said a package was delievered but nothing was outside, i ended up running across the neighborhood for the driver but he ended up being very helpful and even went around the neighborhood looking for it 10/10 staff it wasn’t his fault dumb neighborhood added the same house number so it was a mix up.”
“This self-service station is everything!
Super quick and easy to print out a label and get the return label on my package. Staff was very helpful when I went in to make sure that I had everything I needed to ship my package.
Not busy at all for 11:30 AM on a Saturday. Will definitely come back to this location for all my USPS needs.”
“I had a really good experience here. There was no line and the employee was friendly and helped me choose the best method for shipping my package. He even used his own tape… Usually, I have to buy an overpriced roll if I forget to bring some. I was nervous because the only other reviews here didn’t seem promising.”
“A lot of spoiled brats complaining about their own problems on here. Its a post office. If you take a few seconds to make sure your items are in order, and have a modicum of intelligence, its a smooth transaction. If you think the service is bad here, try a PO in the city.”
“It’s in “4th St Live” across from The Fudgery and Locos. It’s closer to Chipotle on 4th St than CVS. It’s inside the UBS bank building straight ahead in the lobby.”
“Person was extremely helpful over the phone with helping set up a redelivery for a package I missed (I wasn't informed by the seller I would need to sign for it). And the delivery driver dropped it off the next day with no issues.”
“I really appreciate the job the clerks do. (Carriers, too.) Working for the USPS and with the public is stressful. (That's why it's called, going postal.) Anyway, over the years, I've learned to steer clear of the place on Saturdays or whenever else there'll be long lines. Kind of glad to see negative reviews here. Maybe these people will stay away!PS: An update. The hours here have become VERY spotty. Very unpredictable. If I had to do it over again, I'd rent a box at a more reliable branch.”
“I had the best experience at this post office. I am stationed overseas, as a civilian, and had mailed a rug to my parent's house in Louisville, thinking my parents could send it to me overseas. However, when I ordered the rug, I had not anticipated how heavy it was, so my father could not lift it to take it to the post office. They had to wait until I visited to rid themselves of the package. Finally, I returned to Louisville, where my father suggested taking the package to the Lydon Post Office because they were so helpful. I had to roll the box to the car and into the trunk. When I arrived at the post office, I asked if they had a dolly I could borrow. The postal clerk brought the dolly and then came outside to help me. I was so impressed because this was a problem I had created for myself. She then helped me lift it onto the counter. She was helpful and pleasant even though I had brought this heavy box to the post office that I could barely lift. I appreciated her attitude because I felt guilty about inflicting the rug on my parents, and she made me feel better because of her positive attitude and spirit. The carpet is now on its way. Just like my father, I would recommend this post office as well.”
“I had a simple postage need- walked in with no envelope and part of address. The two clerks were nice, patient, laughed at my bad jokes and got my flyers in the mail. Cant ask for more.”
“The postal lady I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable and helped to meet with every need I had. I would recommend this service to all my family friends and neighbors And she was very polite and understood my needs.”
“Although it is a very busy office and the people who attend line up are very fast and friendly with each of the people, definitely when I need I will return to this place, very grateful for your patience.”

“Great people working here. They're always friendly and out of over 300 packages they've never lost one. They helped me send a package to Saudi Arabia and it actually went.”
“Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this location. This location has extremely long hours and typically atleast 2 if not 3 registers open. I use this location quite often and never had an issue. The clerks are nice. Honestly its the costumers that are likely the problem. Not ready, not sure what to do.”
“We have been blessed for years with the same postman, Vallen. He is kind, always in a good mood, and always has something nice to say to me! As a small business owner, I have a LOT of packages and Vallen NEVER complains. One thing to note, though -- I stopped at the local PO recently and arrived at 4:55 to drop off some packages and not only was not a soul in sight, but the drop box was locked. Frustrating to arrive before closing time simply to drop off packages in the drop box to discover that it isn't possible. Not sure why the drop box can't be kept open at all times. ?♀️But overall, I have been so happy with my local post office!”
“The ladies in here were exceptional!! They went above and beyond to make sure the legal documents I needed to mail were taken care of. Helen, is the goat!! Her kindness is unmatched. There is much better service than the post office on W Broadway. This will be my post office going forward, I will pass all the ones I live near to get here.”
