Here are tips to improve the customer experience.
At your self checkout add a hand scanner. These are heavy whole sale products. Why is the customer picking up these items to be scanned on a fixed scanner? This is a liability issue. What if the customer twists the wrong way and hurts their back? They are inside the costco warehouse and this is avoidable.
Another issue is if a membership is about to expire. The checkout will ask if the customer if they would like to re-new this is good. The problem is that if they do not want to re-new. The prompt makes it hard for them to continue checking out. If this happens to enough people there could be a class action law suit for.
-Aggressive and unfair sales tactics
-Undue influence
-Misrepresentation and fraud
Lastly your prices are no longer competitive enough to justify the membership.

“People that work here are really nice & very helpful. I love that they have small nugget ice, yes that kind of ice is my absolute favorite!!! It's a busy store but everyone even the customers were very helpful! I enjoyed stopping here! I must add the bathrooms were CLEAN! Very important when you have been driving forever and HAVE to use a public restroom... All in all a pleasant place to stop, they have EVERYTHING you need from a gas station ?! !!”
“Serves it purpose of getting your vehucle fueled up. One way in, one way out cuts diwn on confusion. Pump #4 can be a hassle for most. A man was trying to get gas and had to put hus card in 8 times before it was accepted. It only took one try for me. Prices are usually lower than other non Sam's Club gas stations.”
“I was really impressed with this place. The chicken tenders were cooked fresh and tasted amazing, easily some of the best you’ll find at a gas station. The prices were fair, and the owner went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. He even let me peek into the kitchen to show that they start a new batch whenever the chicken gets low.”

“Every time I come in, the cashiers are lovely, and go out of their way to make sure I get a deal if I have an item that’s on sell in hand.
I feel bad though because their registers are next to each other, which gives the feeling of claustrophobia, and I’m not even the one behind the counter. They should definitely have more space so that nothing bottlenecks and they have more room to breathe. I couldn’t imagine having to deal with that every day.”

“Had a hole punched through my tire by a nail in the road and was looking for somewhere within walking distance of my house to get it patched. Figured I'd be out $50-60 bucks for the tire patch, but saw Melton's had good reviews and decided to swing by (I'm usually a Les Swabb or Costco Tire type). Tom helped me out and was quick, thorough, kind, and charged much less than I had braced for. It seems like an very honest mechanic and I will be returning when Louisville inevitably claims another one of my tires~”
“Forget the Pump, Go for the Fried Chicken!
I stopped by the BP on Shelbyville Road purely for gas, but I'm so glad I checked out the hot deli counter! This place is a real Gem.
I ordered the Krispy Krunchy Tenders Meal Deal,Fried Fish & Pork Chops and it was fantastic. The Fried Chicken was Perfectly Seasoned, and the portion size was Huge for the price.
What really impressed me was the Pork Chops.My order was ready in about no time at all even though it was the middle of the Lunch Rush Hour.
The deli area itself was Spotless and the staff behind the counter were Fast & Friendly.
If you're driving by and looking for a much better alternative to typical fast food, do yourself a favor and try the deli here. I'll definitely be back for the Fried Chicken next time I'm in the area.

“Thorntons needs better coffee and creamer options.
Actually, the whole pre-cooked sandwich deli thing needs fresh cooked food. The last breakfast sandwich I bought from here was probably 2 hours under the heat lamp.
You can eat here and get gas too!

“Clerk was nice and there was no line. Store seemed fairly clean but I only went in a few feet to prepay for gas. There was a couple homeless people outside. I felt bad for them and gave them the $2 cash I had on me. I hope they're doing well.”
