Owners are very friendly though be sure to call before leaving in case they sell out or if the species you're looking for came in ill. They will do holds for you, not sure how long as I only needed a day.

Even though I am overall very happy with the experience, I think it would be worth it for the owners to invest in small travel cages or proper boxes for when the animals are sold. It just looks kind of bad using an old liquor box with a few holes punched in the top, but like I said I’m overall happy, this is just one small improvement I think the animals would benefit from.

I struggled with finding a reliable vet when I first moved to KY and after a few undesirable experiences at a previous vet, I decided to take a chance and try out VWC and it was the best decision I could’ve made! My dogs can be quite dramatic and sensitive, but at VWC they literally pull me through the door and behind the desk to see the wonderful front desk ladies who have spoiled them rotten with love and cookies from the very first time we set foot in the building. The vets are all so incredibly kind and patient with my goofy mutts and are always very attentive to their needs and proper care. They always let them go at their own pace with lots of kind words, encouragement and cookies! I trust them 1000% with my babies and I’m so grateful to have found them!

The Big Kahuna we went to had a second floor that was much quieter than the first floor, which is nice if you have small toddlers that are easily stimulated. There are large sturdy backless stools for adults, highchairs for babies/toddles, & a kids menu. The staff was very friendly. I'll probably return to try other items on the menu. The only downside to this place that I can think of is that there was no wheelchair (and stroller) accessibility.

Everything i tried here was delicious. Sandwich was so simple and fresh with scrumptious guacamole. The Mocha had their fresh cream which was finger licking. Last but not the least, their butter croissant was the BEST; toasted, warm and gooey. I am already planning to come back!

I drank my Heineken, waited and waited some more for about 20 minutes. I finally flagged down a person who kindly offered to get our waitress for us. No complaints with service after that. The food was good. However, do not order tuna tartare. I don't know what minced meat it was made from but it was not ahi tuna. It was a mixture of red spicy something, cut with crispy rice. No scallions. I even thought it was salmon at first? The waitress asked the chef and came back with assurances that it was not salmon. I don't know what it was but don't order it. I also had a few pieces of sashimi. White tuna was amazing (you get 3 pieces per order), but smoked salmon came in a weird portion. It was string cut into 6 strings. And when I say strings, I mean imagine a box of matches, cut lengthwise. I had 6 pieces of that. It tasted good, I just didn't know what happened to the rest of it. Everything else was fine. Maybe I just hit on the wrong items that night? I'm not sure. But I will probably not go back.
