“My husband needed his old Ref Wing boots replaced after years of wear. I found this place on Google Maps and happy I did. We were greeted when we entered the store. Then the clerk asked if he could help us. After my husband told him what he was looking for, he helped and gave great advice. After my husband made his selection his feet were scanned for size. My husband is really happy with the boots. He recommends this store if you need work boots.”
“I am getting married soon and visited Geno’s to buy a suit for the wedding. Additionally, four of the men in my future wife’s family and my brother wanted to buy a new suit to match, so I have made lots of trips to Geno’s in the last month. The service was outstanding each time I walked in the door. Each trip after the first, I was greeted by name and helped almost immediately upon entering the business. Buying suits for everyone was incredibly easy, and we all felt that we were a valued customer. Also, there was a certain pink tie that my fiancé and I picked out for all the men in our families to wear. The guys at Geno’s went out of their way to order the total number that we needed and have them shipped to the Richmond Rd location which was very convenient for us. It is a pleasure to support local business here in Lexington, and I will definitely be back to Geno’s in the future.”

“I wanted to take a moment to share my experience shopping at Monkee's over the years. I've found the service to be helpful yet not overwhelming, which I truly appreciate. The wide selection of clothing types, especially with all the unique prints, aligns perfectly with my personal style.
As someone who tends to be a bit neurotic, I love that the Monkee's team is always willing to go the extra mile, even going so far as to use my phone to take pictures for me in the clothing I try on, which I think is a little quirky but absolutely helpful!
Additionally, I must recommend the fantastic sales. I also really value that Monkees doesn’t order an excess of styles in various sizes; it gives each piece a uniqueness that means I won’t run into anyone else at my cousin's wedding wearing the same dress!

“The staff here are always soooo sweet and wonderful! I’ve been a faithful customer for many years. I would say that I’ve noticed last several visits that the pricing on items seems to be exorbitant. I found a Wal Mart top I liked this last visit, and saw that the price was the same as Wal Mart’s pricing? I also tend to prefer their designer finds and the pricing on these items doesn’t seem grounded in reality. I can find these same items elsewhere for much less. I shop secondhand to find bargains primarily, and if I’m not finding them on used clothing, may as well buy new!”

“We just discovered this little section of Macy’s on the top floor. It’s similar to a Marshall’s or TJ Maxx, and has some great deals. We bought a color-coated steel water bottle for $5, a pack of $4 plantain chips, and some lip gloss for $2. It was fun to browse all the clothes and random assortment of items. I will definitely come back frequently to see what new additions they’re offering.”
