“A Bourbon Lover's Paradise with Elite Hospitality! If you are passing through Covington, LA, Acquistapace's Covington Supermarket is an absolute must-stop. I actually ended up visiting two days in a row because their selection is so incredible I was completely indecisive about what to get! Truly top tier. Whether you are a casual fan or a serious collector, you’ll find something great. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the customer vibe is just as good. I actually met a fellow bourbon lover in the aisle, had an amazing conversation, and we both walked out with almost the exact same bottles! 🥃 Beyond the liquor department, they have a fantastic selection of hot sauces and gourmet cheeses that you shouldn't skip. Between the awesome inventory and the wonderful hospitality, this has officially become a staple stop for me whenever I'm in the area. See you guys again soon!”

“This place gets all the 5 stars . Came here as last minute choice as everything else was packed on a Friday night(passing through Covington coming from Tampa). The food is very very tasty and authentic . I'm picky with veggies being over cooked but these were at dente . Rice is always a tricky one BUT this rice was fluffy, tasty (not salty or greasy) and perfect amount. The restaurant is clean and staff are very welcoming. I had single tacos ($2.50 ea)- Birria and Pastor and my husband had the chicken plate ($11) WOW ‼. This place is not on Yelp nor on maps but we took a chance AND I'm sooo glad we did. Buen provecho”

“On the day our lord Jesus hath risen again, I ventured through the woods of Covington upon the road of Lee. Weary from my tumultuous journey, my fiance and I fell into a spell of wondrous bargain and friendly companionship. When the backslidden and the evil had left us behind, it was the friendly help at Spell's Grocery that saved us in our time of need. If there is a Mr. or Mrs. Spell, thank you for your kind deals, friendly, custom, and altruistic nature rarely seen in this capitalist waiting we all must endure until we go to thereafter.”

“I am a DoorDasher, I consistently come to the store and have to bother employees for items that I can’t find or I’m having trouble with and as much as I come in the store, some of it is normally really silly. And I understand why a lot of employees get a little annoyance on their face whenever I go to show them the screen of my phone because I imagine that a lot of DoorDash employees come in and don’t even try to look for their items. Today I actually had a very pleasant experience twice, so I wanted to give the store overall some Credit for the service I received. One was just now and one earlier in the day. In the afternoon trip, I didn’t get an annoyed look, And that was really surprising, considering I couldn’t find anyone on the floor and had to aggravate this young lady in the meat department. She was extremely kind, and she even walked me to the aisle I needed! And earlier in the day I’d say about 11 am, there was a woman in the Seafood department who knew what I was talking about before I even had to show her my phone!”

Alice did a magnificent job with the decorative design which was perfect for our event. Cassidy put together an exquisite floral arrangement with fresh flowers, which matched the cake colors. “Always friendly staff, never have run into a product I needed that they didn't have in stock. Not ever enough cashiers when they're busy, but that's every Walmart and not the fault of this one store, so can't blame them for it. They're good about checking dates on food and dairy products so the they never sell expired, or about to be expired, products. They have a pretty decent stock of fresh Fruits, which is 100% of what I love. MY Vanilla/Chocolate galze over Canary-Melon for the tang, Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Cherries, Raspberries, and Mangos. All fruit diced and cut and tossed in a steel bowl, with a dash of Karo and the Vanilla/Chocolate in the oven at 164 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes to seal the glaze. It is amazing!!”
