“Good selection in coolers and pastries to fountain drinks and hot coffee and hot tea. Clean store and parking lots plenty lights in and outside. Better prices with gas around. Only downfall is the service with workers. Most don't even attempt to make eye contact and don't want to help customers. All that pay yourself is useless”

“My wife and I visited this Covington location on a weekday afternoon for a vaccine from the pharmacy. Although we had appointments, we had to wait long past our appointed time. I mention this simply because, while we waited, we observed a pharmacy staff of 6-7 (pharmacists, pharm techs, clerks, etc.) fighting an uphill battle to complete tasks and serve a flood of clients. To their credit, they performed with great efficiency and were respectful, helpful, and welcoming to all with whom they dealt. I was impressed. I have no pharmacy experience, but as a retired biomedical professional with an understanding of difficulties in the industry that have grown since the recent pandemic, I observed obvious staffing issues that must be addressed by management. I'm sure that duties have increased for all employees (especially for registered pharmacists!), but this does not excuse superhuman workloads. I hope that management will find original and equitable solutions to this issue.”

“A wonderful store, great pharmacy manager, great pharmacy technicians, really try to help the patient. I am disabled and they have been been lifesavers. I have had problems with the store itself, and when I brought them to the store manager, he had an attitude and was completely involved with some outside interest on the phone and unwilling to give me a moment of his time. after 10 minutes of waiting I just left.”

“Convenient location, friendly staff, nice and clean, (definitely cleanest restrooms on the Northshore), nice selection of everything including beer, wine, seltzers, liquor, energy drinks, novelty candies, fluff gourmet fairy floss cotton candies, Hunts Brothers Pizza, chicken wings, and delicious Crawfish or Pork Boudin, smoked sausage, and Cajun boiled peanuts. They even have the good ice!(iykyk?) for their bagged ice and fountain drinks. Their prices are always fair, the store is always clean, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Peacock ? is my store for sure! Locally owned and operated. Support local business instead of big chain stores! Only suggestion I have is bring in an Icee machine instead of Slush Puppies but I still give them a solid 5/5 !”

“Generally i love racetrack. However last few times ive been at night they were closed. It used to be open all night now they close at what seems to be various different times randomly. Sign written by worker will say closed and taped on door. Couple njghts ago they were closed before midnight. Other than that no problem. Clean restroom, great employees, good customer service and love to get coffe here the flavors and fixins they have!”
