“I still love Robert Fresh Market but just wanted to give some love to the bakery department in particular.I hosted a retirement party recently and I ordered the cake here. It was absolutely perfect. The guest of honor is a wedding cake fan, so that's the flavor I requested. It was delicious!!! And the decorating couldn't have been any better. It was exactly what I asked for.I order all of my doberge cakes here, and am always impressed. My hubs is a huge doberge fan - and is joined by my younger daughter and mom in his love for that tasty custard filled gateau. My oldest daughter and I are huge fans of the Very Berry cake. I'm telling you, it's life changing. There are also turtles, eclairs, stuffed cookies, cupcakes, and bunches of other tasty sweets. I'm a die hard fan.”

“You MUST hit this night market in NOLA.The variety of food is amazing, a smattering of cool crafts, and the entertainment is terrific. It's an experience that isn't touristy - an enjoyable local event! The whole fried squid, lime steak tartare, Korean fried chicken wings, various sushi, and bang bang shrimp tacos by Nori Guys slap! Pricing was comparable to the larger chain stores and despite being a busy day, the checkout lines moved quickly with a simple transaction and most importantly, no gimmicks. “Here I was driving all the way to the West Bank to Hong Kong market for simple ingredients and food items I had only wished were convient. Well, those days are over! They let us sneak in 10 minutes before closing which was just enough time for me to buy what I needed for some yummy homemade ramen! I got the Homdashi stock mix, Mushrooms, frozen ramen noodles, red pepper paste for this dish here. If I had had time, I definitely would have snagged more but it was just enough for a simple yet flavorful dish. We also bought Tteokbokki and gyoza but haven't tapped into those goodies just yet. Can't wait to be back to fill up my cart with unique ingredients I've been looking forward to playing and learning with. :) Happy to have y'all in Metairie!”

“I worked in the area for 2 years and ate lunch there everyday they have great food the young ladies that work there the gentleman's that work there everyone's nice it's a clean environment it's very in my book it's a hundred percent place to go eat lunch I went back last week to visit and had Burgers and Fries and it was awesome it's just not the same as anywhere else so I recommend anyone that would like to try a good New Orleans style pool boy or any poor boy you would like if they have a wide variety I recommend going try it and you'll probably go back just like me stay safe stay positive and God bless everyone”

The bakery is really good but the one on power is better and bigger. Seafood department and meat are always fresh and reasonably priced. They have a butcher in house that will do cuts if you ask. They sell live and cooked crawfish.”

The old oriental lady that cooks in the kicken is very nice and funny! The food is "Hot & Fresh" and is made in front of you while you wait. Definately a place to visit that is part of New Orleans!
