Linekin Bay Resort
92 Wall Point Rd, Boothbay HarborHave had the pleasure of vacationing here twice. Would love to live here year round. Great people that really seemed to want to make your stay enjoyable along with great accommodations. Stayed in rooms first time and really enjoyed the whole place. Went back with several friends and stayed in one of the really nice houses. Had firewood available at our door and built fire in fireplace that made for a great evening in the house. Facility had everything needed for a great time. Fishing poles, kayaks, canoe. Nice swimming pool. Area had nice trails and a nice dock to walk around. Gave a nice tour of the local coast in the nice boats they had and told us about the area. Great food and drinks. Hosts Even had a s’mores cookout one night for the kids. Went out with lobster fishermen and caught lobsters.
Other really good places to eat close by as was puffin and whale watching tours. Really can’t say a bad thing about our trips there.
Really hope to make another trip there in the future.

1 By-Way, Boothbay HarborThe Orange Swiss Chocolate Chip ice cream is the best!!! There was only one person working in the shop tonight and he was brilliant! Great sense of humor, handled a line of 8 people with aplomb and definitely deserves a raise! We come every year and love this place!

Mine Oyster
16 Wharf St #1, Boothbay HarborDefinitely the off-season and we were lucky to find this place open. The view was amazing, being right on the harbor and I can imagine it's insane in the summertime out on the deck. Definitely coming back for that. We came in with a very hangry and unhappy toddler, and the staff could not have been nicer. They got us settled in and our waitress brought waters, with a kid's cup & straw for grumpy toddler. We ordered truffle fries, shrimp cocktail, chili, and chili-cheese fries, which were all good. But grumpy toddler wanted ice cream and the restaurant didn't have any. Toddler wasn't accepting reasonable explanations, and we were trying to come up with Plan B or C when our amazing waitress came back and said the kitchen had located some ice cream in a freezer upstairs. How unbelievable that they would have looked that hard. I've been to hundreds, (maybe thousands?) of restaurants in my life, and that's the kind of effort that melts your heart. When our toddler is older, he'll be embarrassed by this story but we'll keep coming back here because we appreciated it so much, and you seriously cannot beat the view.
