Pet Pantry
177 Lower Main St, FreeportGot my favorite doggy PJ’s here a few years ago, which sadly got taken from my hotel room on a trip. We happened to stop by again today (we are not from the area) and I found the same PJ’s! Also got the pups some delicious treats, the reason we stopped in the first place!

PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic - Freeport
200 Lower Main St A-275, FreeportToday, my regular Vet didn't have appointments. My pooch was neutered (6) days ago. His stiches popped and he was oozy with an infection. The staff promptly opened an appointment for me w/i (1 1/2) hours of opening.
Upon arrival, I was checked in immediately and saw a Med Tech w/i minutes. The Vet saw me w/i (10) minutes.
My pooch received his meds, antibiotics, a cleaning of his infection, and the cone of shame. ;)
The staff is prompt, kind and definitely animal lovers!
If I ever have an emergency again, THIS is the Urgent Care Office I will return too.
Thank you PetMedic, Freeport for looking out for us!

Whole Dog Camp at Bliss Woods Farm
136 S Freeport Rd, FreeportWe're taking our puppy and new 12 yr old rescue to classes and it's the perfect training facility. We don't have a fenced yard so it's also fabulous to be able to bring the dogs over for free runs when no one else is there. Jenny knows dogs and is super nice as well. Highly recommend.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Maine Beer Company
525 US-1, FreeportVisited on a trip to New England area and found the taproom to be cool and unique! There's a (I assume model) of a whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling and tree fountain right in the middle of the taproom! I tried their beer called 'Lunch' and was pleasantly surprised how easy drinking it was. I found it on many menus around the area as well. They also had their values and contributions to wildlife and such posted around the building which was an awesome thing to see!

Mainely Custard
150 US-1, FreeportDelicious custard and menu items. Love their concretes with all the toppings you can blend in. The staff are welcoming and friendly too, which is great.
Lines can get backed up pretty bad sometimes during peak hours. They only had one window open when there was a very long, slow moving line last time we visited. Staff definitely know how to hustle and make sure you get taken care of, though.

Nighthawk's Kitchen
200 Lower Main St Ste 102, FreeportLove this place. The shaved Brussels sprout-roasted chicken Caesar salad is outstanding. Add a pork kabob, and there was plenty of delicious healthy food for two. We paired it with Gunnar’s Daughter milk stout from Mast Landing. A superb dinner!

Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster Company
36 Main St, South FreeportThe wait for the food took a while but one we got the fresh fish sandwiches they are fabulous. Since it was overcast and breezy, the upstairs deck was pretty chilly but came down to a picnic table under the tent incase of rain.
Very popular place as evident by the out of state cars in the parking lot. Nice view of the coast with many boats. Nice visit.
