388 Ocean Point Rd, East BoothbayIt was a cold January night after a snowstorm, and most if not all restaurants in the Boothbay area were closed for the season. I was searching for anywhere that was open when I came across Carriage House Restaurant. Set against the snow, it looked almost enchanted.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and exactly what you want on a winter night. I ordered the grilled romaine heart Caesar salad with cornbread croutons and shaved Parmesan and added the blackened chicken. It was, hands down, the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had.
Excellent food, genuinely friendly service, and a warm refuge on a snowy winter evening. A real gem in East Boothbay.
