“What an amazing place.! Food was great and the dog menu was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Eva for the most excellent attention and customer service! Our room had a great view and was above and beyond our expectations. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was like a spa experience. The walk down to the beach was lovely and the whole place was so dog friendly.”

“Beautiful, newly renovated hotel. My suite was very clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was great. I especially liked that they had gluten free bagels, gluten free blueberry muffins, almond milk and oat milk. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We loved our stay here! The room (we stayed in room 6) was very comfortable, and the house had all of the luxuries of a proper hotel while also being much more quaint and home-y. Breakfasts were delicious, the common space was lovely, and it’s a pretty walk/easy uber to old port from here.”
“BRIDES!!! If you're looking for a unique one-of-a kind experience for your wedding and your guests, STOP looking. The Inn on Peaks Island is the perfect blend of elopement vibes vs. traditional. Our little husband and wife team shot photography and videography for a wedding here in May and the staff was unbelievable. Every little detail was thought of and absolutely stunning! We can’t wait to document our next wedding on the island!”
“Gorgeous hotel with a great location. I only stayed one night and wish I stayed longer. This is the best Hilton Ive stayed in because of the cleanliness, the decor, the ambiance, the polite employees, location and more. Next time I come to Portland I will definitely be staying here! Luna bar was quite pricey but the vibes were great aswell and loved the views from the balcony.”

“Rad hotel for families. Exceptional service. Every staff member was so kind. Free hot chocolate for the kids and coffee for the adults. Room has a nice view of the harbor. Pool is great. Only suggestion would be mats for the tubs—my 5 yo slipped and banged his head on the tub. Very slippery. And the beds are little too soft for my tastes.
They’re renovating the rooms as of January 2025, so maybe they’re fixing those issues.
Location wise, quick walk (<10 mins) to so many restaurants.
Walkability: Very walkable”
“Very pleasant hotel. Booked two rooms and were thoughtfully situated next to each other on the fifth floor. The only real downsides were that I wished there was more desk/table space to put one’s things and housekeeping service was rather slow. Otherwise everything else was wonderful; the front desk is incredibly helpful, the daily water was appreciated; the bed was
comfortable and last but not least, the rainfall shower was the best and felt luxurious. Loved the simple but spacious gym with quality equipment.”
“Great boutique hotel in downtown Portland with excellent service. Very cool that they were able to convert an old newspaper building into a modern hotel, with design details that match the building's heritage. As it is a historic building, the rooms were on the smaller side, but still big enough and comfortably appointed.
Walkability: Walkable to everything downtown Portland has to offer.
Noteworthy details: Building was converted from an old newspaper office into a modern hotel, with design details that match the building's heritage. Lots of references to newspapers, type, and typewriters.”
“I tour and talk to wedding venues for a living, and I've been in this industry for years, so very little surprises me. All the thoughtful details at Blind Tiger's Danforth location truly surprised me, in all the best ways. I can see stellar intimate weddings and wedding weekends happening in this converted brownstone, and I'm truly blown away by GM Tammara's intuitive way of highlighting what makes Portland, and her venues so incredibly special. LOVE.”

“Beautiful Inn. We had a great table with a view. However, my meal arrived lukewarm and had to send it back. My husband an about a tablespoon of coleslaw on his plate and requested more. Once my meal was done over, the meal was very good.”

“This may be the best hotel I've ever stayed in - clean, great location, and amenities. The patio is lovely. The bed is comfortable. I am recommending this place to anyone who travels to Portland, ME.”
“The rooms and the inn itself are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food and drinks are amazing and fresh every day. All employees were super nice and very helpful. Winnie, the bar and restaurant manager, made the dining and bar experience amazing. The location is prime. Very close to the beach, Portland, and Scarborough. Not stuck in the middle of a big city. Overall a great experience!”

“Percy Inn was so cute and a wonderful stay while in Portland. It was within walking distance of many restaurants and bars and made it easy to navigate the city. We stayed in the Walt Whitman room and it was adorable and comfortable. The stairs were a little precarious but nothing crazy.”

“This was a very nice hotel and convenient to the downtown Portland area – a smooth 10–15-minute drive. Not much dining within walking distance, but lots of places a short drive away. Room was clean and well decorated as were the open spaces. The bar/restaurant must be very popular – it was crowded every time we went by.

“Home2 Suites came up as an alternative location than the traditional hotel rooms. For about the same price as a regular hotel room with breakfast included I happily booked. I only spent one night here, but the room was spacious and felt more like an apartment than just a hotel room. Having movable features like a full sized pull out table and computer chair in the room was incredibly convenient to customize the space to your liking. I was able to watch YouTube and stream Netflix on my TV without having to bring my own device which was also a huge plus. The indoor heated pool was small but I prefer it smaller than too big. My room had plenty of lavishes such as a full sized fridge and freezer, a microwave, dishwasher with soap included, tons of usb ports in every bedside table and lamp, and tons of open cabinet and closet space. The free breakfast was great, very on par for hotel food including make your own waffles and premade egg and cheese omelets. The room has some traditional wear and tear but that is to be expected. Some USBs didn't work and my door to the bathroom was a sliding door and nearly impossible to pull out of the doorway once it slid back in. My only complaints are that there was no liquid hand soap for the bathroom sink and the shower had a sliding glass door which no matter what I tried, I ended up with a soaking wet floor after every shower. Overall my experience was great and this hotel would be fantastic if you were staying for an extended period of time, because it would feel more like staying in a studio apartment than a hotel room, but I stayed only one night and it was very satisfactory to me.”
“Just off of I-95, which means there's a little bit of a drive to get to the main attraction in this area, i.e. the Fort Williams Park with it's light houses and Atlantic Ocean vistas. However, that minus turns into a plus when considering the room prices compared accomodations closer in. Otherwise, we found the accommodations to be excellent. Clean rooms, sufficient packing, lots of dining choices nearby, etc. I'd stay here again.”

“I gave five stars because they let me use their car to try jump starting my car then allowed me to drive it to the parts store to pick up a battery. The rooms aren't the best ever but for the price it's fine and it was clean. I enjoyed my stay.”
“I had an amazing facial and dermaplaning with Mia and a deep muscle massage and body wrap with Eileen that released all the tightness and tension in my body. I live in CT but each year visiting this spa is a must. The best experience and services of any spa I’ve visited 3 years running! Don’t miss the multi jet shower afterwards which is like a cash wash for the body.”
