985 Popham Rd, PhippsburgThe Pine family are amazing hosts. They have updated all the rooms beautifully. At Spinney's you have a warm family atmosphere and great service. The continental breakfast at the guesthouse is very convenient, and meals at the restaurant are top notch. The seafood options are my favorite, but for my husband who doesn't like seafood, the burger option was a favorite. The beach is beautiful and access is right on the property across the parking lot. Waking up to and ocean sunrise is the ultimate vacation experience.

Spinneys Oceanfront Restaurant

Do not skip the key lime pie. Best I've had in my life. It's light almost like chiffon pie, crust is solid, flakey with a hint of salt as all good pie crusts should, whipped cream topping and toasted coconut flakes 20/10. (My only comment is I would ditch the mini marshmallows that populate the top. However, I was told that a sweet older lady down the street makes these pies, and as it is the best pie I've had in ages, she gets a pass for the marshmallows)
We ordered fish tacos which were pretty decent if a little overcooked (fish). The crab cakes were exceptional.
