“We had a delightful lunch with a sensational view of the Maine coast at The Blue Bistro - the restaurant located at the Beachmere Inn on Maine's Marginal Way.
It can be a bit tricky to find the Blue Bistro by car - look for the Beachmere Inn signs, the Blue Bistro is located just inside the main entrance. You do not have to be a guest of the Beachmere to enjoy this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
The Blue Bistro features expertly crafted cocktails, local brews, and a well chosen wine selection.
The chowder was amazing, not too thick but very tasty. The lobster roll was pure Maine lobster no filler and among the best we've ever experienced. The BLT was first rate and just what I needed to accompany the bowl of chowder.
Take a friend to the Blue Bistro and make your next Maine lunch or Dinner truly memorable.”

“We've been coming to OGT for 25 years and have stayed all over. This was our first time at Marginal Way House and it was excellent. The room (115 in the main house) was exceptionally clean. The check in/check out was flawless and the grounds are beautiful. They have coffee every morning starting at 730am on the porch. They also still have daily cleaning service which is honestly hard to find now, post-covid. We will definitely be back.”

“Had a great time spending a weekend at the Abolonia Inn. Marc was incredibly warm and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable. The rooms were clean and as shown in the photos. We loved the location of the inn, a short walk to anywhere we wanted to be. Would definitely stay here again!”
“Sept 4 - 7th, 2023, came here with friends and stayed in Room on the 2nd floor. The room had a small kitchen with a nice clean working refrigerator. They had a small coffee maker a toaster, and microwave oven. All the equipment looked new. Plus there was a small eating table for two. The room had 1 queen bed that was comfortable to sleep on, plus the pillows was nice and soft. We asked for a Cot to be put in our room since there were 3 of us for an additional charge of course.My friend who slept on the Cot said the mattress was just OK, and I am sure it is ready for a Foam Mattress replacement. LOVED the sign on the inside of our door that stated Guest who Smoke in the rooms will be charged 250.00 dollars Fee. NOTE, there is a Smoking Area outside by the Ice Machine if you needed to smoke. However, I did see the guy on the first floor sitting outside his room smoking. Amanda, who works there was very personable, and friendly. When I asked her for extra towels, and plastic bags I didn’t have to wait long for her to deliver them to our room. The room is equipped with a Smoke Detector and I assume a Carbon Monoxide Detector. Sherry and Jennifer who work in the Office are very professional and friendly. Honestly, all the workers I am sure that work there are hard workers, otherwise the place would not be so clean. All and all, we would definitely stay there again if we want to come back to Maine because this Hotel is right in town, walking distance to all stores, restaurants and the ocean.”
“We’ve been going for 4 years with next year already booked. Absolutely love this place. Ogunquit is obviously a great place to take a summer vacation and pink blossoms is a fantastic family resort located downtown with pretty equal distance to the beach or Perkins cove. You don’t have to drive all week if you don’t want to. Go more than once and you’ll see familiar faces the next year. That tells you it’s a great spot. Pretty good amenities and activities on property and the long time staff can answer any question you have about the area.”

Clean modest room with amazing air conditioning, all the amenities, coffee, snacks, tea 24 hrs a day. Anthony was the best host. Beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas available. Very close proximity to the beach and town.”
“Our experience at Jennifer Hill was good. We were able to check in a little early and we even stayed an extra day as we were offered a great deal.
The rooms are big and clean and the amenities are nice.
There is no breakfast but they do have coffee and tea available all day.
There was a huge RV taking up 6 spots so parking proved challenging as there were not lots of spots to park and we drove around the property a few times until a spot became available.
Check out is at 11 but we received a text around 10 asking when we were checking out which annoyed us bc we gave additional business and felt like we were being rushed.
Overall, it was a lovely experience. The pools were nice and always busy until around 5 to 7 pm while people were at dinner.
We would stay again.”
“The location of the Sparhawk is amazing that’s why we continue to stay at the Sparhawk. The rooms with the balcony onlooking the beach are the best.It was family owned until last year. Now a big corporation owns it that own many other hotels in Maine. The rooms need to be updated the rugs are dirty. My husband’s white socks were dirty from the rug. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained.”

“We had a great experience at the Grand Hotel. The rooms were spacious and the property was well maintained. We had our 3 kids and they loved the pool and hot tub area. It’s a quick walk down to Perkins cove and to marginal way. The daily coffee was great as well! Highly recommend.”
“Room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Staff was super friendly. Smoking area was pretty basic and exposed to weather, but at least smoking areas are offered. Sauna was out of order while we were there, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay again.”

“Room 104 looks over garbage pails and other not so nice looking items. It was disappointingand and only $5.00 less than my friend that had a cottage twice the size. But the staff if lovely and grounds nice. I knew not a water view but this was not expected.”

“Very elegant and relaxing. Outside hot tub, 2 indoor pools and 1 outside. Great location. 4 stars because there was no complimentary food on site and no place to get light snacks. There was a restaurant but it was a little pricey. No sundry items to purchase in-house.”

“My friend and I really loved this hotel, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Prices were reasonable. Easy access to everything, perfect for our short beach trip. We will definitely book here again and recommend to friends and family. A special mention to Sabrina who really came through for us when our plans changed last minute. She went out of her way so that my friend and I were happy and we really appreciated her. Dealing with employees like Sabrina when something unplanned comes up is just a rare thing these days. Rooms: The older part of the resort was clearly an old motel, but it has been completely redone and it's lovely. These rooms have the best views.
Walkability: Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. It's only a short walk back to the main drag with even more options.”
