“I was assisted by Ann Marie while shopping two weeks ago, and she was WONDERFUL. I spent about 2 hours in-store and was assisted with a bra fitting, carrying of clothes back to my dressing room, frequent check-ins while trying on clothes and exchanges of styles and sizes. I spent way more money than I should have BUT I couldn't have asked for a better experience!”

“I just called the J.Jill store in South Portland, ME, to place an order and am compelled to write this review. The J.Jill store is not just a chain store in a mall, but a boutique where Customer Service is top priority. In the 1980s I traveled to Boston and New York City twice a year to buy clothes, and my experience at that time is the same experience I have in your store. The atmosphere and display is that of an exclusive boutique. The Sales Associates are helpful; extremely friendly and are never overbearing; they remember me when I come into the store; they suggest items that I may not notice...in a nutshell, the experience at your store is comparable to that of an exclusive store in New York City and Boston in the 1980s - Excellent in Every Way!! Your store is unique in the era in which we live.”

“Olivia was amazing! We went to Soma for bra fittings for my teen daughters, and she could not have been better. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, even though she was the only employee in the store and it was quite busy. She made both of my daughters feel completely comfortable and cared for the entire time. Her professionalism, warmth, and exceptional customer service were so appreciated. If you’re shopping at Soma in the Maine Mall, I highly recommend asking for Olivia!”
“I had a funny experience here with my son fairly recently. We always go in to Spencers for t shirts when we’re at the mall. We don’t venture past the t shirt walls, but would possibly consider doing so if it wasn’t so overcrowded feeling in the store. Other than the space issue, the shirt selection is good and I can never pass up a buy 4 get 1 free sale.We went in around the holidays and got some shirts. When we got to the counter the person waiting on us made a joke about judging our taste in music based on what t shirts we were buying. My son and I are both Nirvana fans and had each gotten a new shirt. Our cashier commented “ah Nirvana…name 3 songs” I came up with some of the lesser known titles I knew to prove that I wasn’t a poser. This seemed to satisfy and the transaction went smoothly. On our way out our amateur band critic of a Spencer’s associate commented in seeming approval of the “Kendrick Lamar” hoodie my son was wearing. We didn’t have the heart to tell them that it was actually Jimi Hendrix hahahaha”

Kathleen was helpful, instantly made me feel welcome and offered suggestions for other items I might enjoy. The whole interaction felt super genuine — I very much appreciated it, especially going in so late. You’re a gem, Kathleen!!”
“On Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, my mother and I went to the Macy’s in the Maine Mall. We were in the perfume department when Barbie, a Macy’s employee, asked if she could help us. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the various perfumes and what was trending. Her open and kind manner was so pleasant. My mom did end up getting a new scent. Barbie is a phenomenal sales woman. She is a real asset.”

“Great experience with Keegan the manager. He helped fix an issue with an online order I had. I was sent the wrong size and completely separate shoe from what I ordered by another store. Keegan was not only outstanding with how he was able to fix my issue in store but he is a personable guy that made sure I had the best experience possible while he did it. I’m not a big “leave a review” guy, but he deserves the hype.
I have a pair of the correct shoes on order now, I have faith that this time it will be right.

“Absolutely wonderful staff! I cannot recommend this J Crew Factory location more. They helped me find a white button down shirt for my cousin's wedding after I left mine back home—several hours away by airplane. When I told them about my situation, they offered to steam and press the shirt to get the wrinkles out. Very friendly and hospitable staff. I would give six stars if I could!”
“I love this store. I don't know what it is about this store, but I feel like a little kid walking into a toy store when I come here. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it's because the staff always greet and recognize you every time you walk in. Or maybe it's because there's always tons of items stocked inside waiting to be bought. The only thing I would say about going here is items can sometimes be VERY pricey. So just remember to bring some cash whenever you feel like coming here. Other then that, this store is a excellent place to shop and always a great place to be a part of!”

Secondly I am so glad I followed her over when she moved to your salon. This salon is so much better than what I was used to all the way around. The environment and atmosphere is just so much more relaxed and peaceful. I feel welcomed and like I belong every time I go in there. Great job and thank you for what you do.
lastly, I just wanted to say that they are very workable and make it very easy to make appointments weather that's online or via phone call. As of what I know from experience they are very prompt if you have a scheduled appointment.

I came in not having a clue about what I was looking for, but Mackenna quickly helped me find the styles I fell in love with. She really listened to each note I had about each dress and made the perfect next selection.
In addition, Amanda (Operations Director) popped in a few times. She was simply another amazing light throughout the appointment. Her attention to detail with not only myself, but making sure the stylists were supported simply does not go unnoticed.
Overall, you can tell each staff member truly cared about each bride that comes through the door AND each other. It's way more than a sale to them!!!!!”
