“What an experience, if I could give 10 stars, I would. A group of us went on a Saturday evening for a semi-private personal shopping experience. And wow! It was incredible. With the help of the 2 incredible girls that work there, I ventured outside my comfort zone and left the store with 2 complete, beautiful outfits. I am 5'3, athletic build and struggle with how to style my body type with cute and flattering pieces. I now feel tremendously confident in jeans and tops that I would typically never choose for myself. Not to mention a stunning jacket that just ties everything together perfectly. I am blown away with how wonderful my experience was and cant wait to go back for a spring wardrobe refresh. Thank you Bobbles & Lace for showing me that it is possible to wear something besides skinny jeans and basic tops. I am super grateful for all the help.”

“Cute local souvenir store by downtown area. It's on one of the hill, not on the main road.
They have selections of clothes, hats, toys etc. We got a Bluey activity book that was on discount $5 only! Also I found a picture frame I liked. Colorful and good quality. A little expensive but it’s a tourist thing.
The lady was very nice and friendly. I feel people in this area are all pretty nice and easy going. I had lots fun visiting different stores in the neighborhood.”
“Visited Jen Burrall Designs for the first time a few weeks ago. What a gem right here in Portland!!! Jen’s handmade jewelry is absolutely stunning!!!! She is in the process of making me a ring with Seaglass, I can’t wait to pick it up, the intricate design within the ring is amazing!! She also made me a band, made with sand from the beach in Maine, it’s so cool!!! And the clothes, WOW!!! The styles Jen has picked out to sell in her store are absolutely beautiful, she has an eye for fashion, a true artist!!! I picked out so many eclectic pieces, and she’s always getting new, fun styles in. She also has other really cool items that she sells, that would make awesome gifts, like bags, and wallets. I have been in, now a few times, and like I said she always has new, different, cool items to browse through. Also, Jen is super cool, laid back, and easy going. It’s such a pleasure seeing and talking with her. She makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed in her space. If you’re looking for something different, beautiful and hip visit Jen at her shop in Portland, I can promise you, it will not be your only visit!!! “I came here twice during my trip to Portland. I wanted a bunch of souvenirs for the folks back home but needed to stay on a budget. This store had a lot of good souvenir Portland merch and other garments. Affordable items and good quality. I purchased fridge magnets and keychains. The customer service is amazing! Both of my interactions were great and I will definitely be back when I go back to Portland!”

I walked in having no real clue what my size was, but the staff member who helped me immediately started pulling things for me to try on and I found a fantastic pair of jeans that fit my body fantastically in under 20 minutes.”

She was feeling a little out of the element and Madison, a store Manager saw us looking endlessly for clothes and thus approached us to see if we needed help. Madison made our day! She was kind, understanding, patient, friendly and anticipated the needs of my niece. She offered selections to try on and we felt valued! I would HGHLY recommend anyone to shop with Madison.
The store is clean, well stocked in various sizes. Really a fantastic store to find versatile clothing that goes from workouts to casual and business casual.”

“I cannot give this store enough stars!!! Frankly, it needs 10! A friend told me about this store last year when she found out I would be visiting Portland. It was on my list to visit from that moment. When I arrived in town, I began planning my store visits and when I read the reviews of this store almost changed my mind. Remembering how much T loved this store, I decided to go for it. Yes, it has a doorbell entry. Yes, it’s a high end store. Yes, it has unique and exclusive brands. This store isn’t for everyone - much like most stores. There are many stores that aren’t for me, but I don’t go on and write a review about them. Judith is a breath of fresh air. It’s stylish, luxurious, and has so many options. I have traveled and shopped in many places. Maine is beyond lucky to have such an option for women’s higher end fashion. I have thought about the doorbell entry a lot as I believe that is likely the main gripe in the reviews. It’s truly a necessity in today’s world. I appreciate the owner watching out for the safety of her employees and for her investment. Again, this store isn’t for everyone. But they have the most amazing brands and many options if you are looking for unique finds and investment pieces that you will have for years! I love it! Lauren went above and beyond to help me. I just let her style me and trusted the process. I’m just soooo sad we don’t have one in Indiana! Kudos to an amazing shop! Job well done! Husbands—-perfect place for a gift card for your wife!”

“I absolutely LOVE products provided by Agatha & Louise! I have a collar that my dog has since February of this year, and it still looks brand new! I have a long leash from Agatha & Louise that I use constantly! As my Theodore and I are often hiking trails, and he seems to be able to find all dirt available with his leash on - leash is still in a perfect condition! Colors didn't fade, nor any area of the leash got damaged from an extensive use and often wash. He also has water and food bowls , and it is PERFECT! And recently I got few more sets of leashes and collars! Highest recommendations! Great products!”

“The staff are ALL super helpful, on-task and fun(ny). The classes have made me stronger and leaner. I can do more push-ups than my 13 year old son! The other class participants are friendly, kind and a mix of all ages: 20s to 80s! The staff is very good at suggesting modifications but still pushing you a bit out of your comfort zone.”
