“I contacted this nursery because it was in the area. Once I found out the pricing I was absolutely sold…. So onto the stellar review☺️. I was looking for a nursery/repotting help. My Mom recently passed away unexpectedly and had over 175+ plants. I had been struggling with a few of them and contacted them asking for help and I spoke with Peter. Let me say this, Peter is a GEM, he was so kind and patient “OVER THE PHONE☺️.” I have yet to meet him because he was off on Tuesday ☺️ but I look forward. I know I had taken up a lot of his time, asked the same questions and possibly rambling because I just wanted to help save my Moms plants. Peter told me to come in the next morning and who to speak with. Once I got to the nursery the following morning I met Kathleen and she took my plant brothers & sisters too be repotted. I came back to pick them up later that day and the looked wonderful. I have found a new nursery and I am so excited. Everyone was so helpful and kind, they offered condolences and told me to email any concerns/questions I may have in the future. I look forward to many visits here as I begin my new journey with my new plants and the help of Green Fields. I know my Mom is smiling down on my for taking care of her other babies ?. “I stopped in looking for an organic potting soil mix, and although they were out at the time, I still had a great experience. Quincy, the store owner, took the time to show me around the beautifully decorated space and shared details about upcoming classes and events at the shop. The customer service was excellent- friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. The store itself is clean, warm, and inviting. I'll definitely be back and look forward to attending an event in the future! I ended up leaving with a philodendron, which I felt was appropriately priced for the size of the plant.”

“Vince... a very gregarious and knowledge owner/salesperson. It was a pleasure visiting his store for the first time and meeting him. I learned it was a family business that he's now run for decades. The store is packed to the ceiling and displayed attractively out front, with just about everything you'd need/expect in a hardware store (not lumber yard.)I'd called in and he was able to salvage the correct part for my lawn mower from one that was located "out back." He saved me approx. $20 by getting me the handle I needed, which didn't have it's own individual part number, without having to by the whole self-propel control unit.I will return.”

“What a lovely shopping experience. Nestled behind Schnieders Hardware Store on Wyndhurst Avenue. It's an oasis of a store and property. Lots to look at from the planters outside to unique Christmas and decor from around the world inside. PAT is a doll and has been here for 21 years. Take a reset day and go visit. It's so cozy inside, even a woodstove fireplace to keep you warm.”

“Honestly, I think this program saved my life. In 2023, I was in a deep depress. It seemed like all that could go wrong in my life, did. I had recently began experiencing terrible back pain around age 23, which was devastating. I lost my job. I felt alone. I didn’t have any motivation, drive, or interest to live. My home life was really unhappy and my past trauma was weighing me down. I felt like my outpatient program providers were failing me.
When I saw TALMAR on TikTok, it really stood out to me, which was rare. Nothing else could really do that at the time, so this is saying something. I reached out. I would work with an occupational therapist during my visits. The OT would find accommodations for me with my back pain which really made me feel seen. There was a sensory garden that I could help water. It was beautiful, my favorite plant there was lamb’s ear Sage. Also, I got to try growing plants at home (cherry tomatoes, big boy tomatoes, and celosia) and it really gave me pride and confidence. Meanwhile, when I visited, I would help water and care for plants like strawberries (the best ones I’ve ever tasted) and kale (which is now a food I love to make and eat). It was so nice to feel like I was in my own body again. It was so nice to be outside and appreciate the beautiful nature around me. It was healing to feel like part of something. And I felt some accountability and like the plants depended on me. Seeing the chickens brought me joy. This was a really positive experience for me that got me out of a really dark time. I would recommend this to everyone. Even if someone is generally okay but just needed to get out of the house, or to feel like they have accomplished a meaningful task.”

“Online inventory was very accurate, save lots of time online navigation with product location shelf and they were very accurate. I was able to get in and out and checked out within 15 to 20 minutes and on my way to my project.”

“Mike Hill from plumbing is an asset to this store. He was easy to talk to and helped me confirm that the replacement part I was looking at was the one I needed. He answered my question and had a good sense of humor that is much needed when I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the projects I need to do with my home.
