“….and the Customer Service Rock Star Award goes to….Victor, Lead SSA. ??? Yesterday, my daughter and I went to the Ft Washington Post Office for passport renewal services. Victor was so professional, kind, efficient, and knew exactly what he was doing. The Department of State sent us a letter that her passport renewal application was received, but we completed the incorrect form and provided us with the correct form and instructions for next steps. Victor greeted us warmly. We had our part completed and Victor immediately knew what to do. What a breath of fresh air. I believe we were in and out within 7 minutes. I told Victor that he was a God-send. I was sharing this experience with a friend and she also commented that she has been serviced by Victor multiple times and the experience has always been phenomenal Keep doing what you’re doing, Victor! Your efforts are not in vain. God Bless”

The lady working there will is very helpful and I was able to get my package mailed off without a hitch. No crowds at all so you can get in and get out quickly. It is open Tues- Fri from 9 - 1 and you don't have to go on the naval post to get to the post office.”

“We came here for a money order and the young woman that was working the counter had it ready for us super fast, tucked away in a little envelope. She was patiently helping an older woman pack her box when I came in who was struggling with getting the most bang for her buck out of a prepaid mailer. I think she might have been the only person working, they're probably super understaffed. She was on her stuff and got me in and out of there quick before going back to helping pack the box. It's a really small post office tho so have patience if you roll in there over lunch time or something, if it gets busy they probably don't have a lot of bandwidth.”

“One of a very few usps I would give 4 Stars. Only for the Friendly and helpful stuff. The -1 Star is for the temperature. It was freezing in there, same temperature like outside. Also The shipping forms was not stocked and labeled, so I had to stay in the like asking for a shipping form to fill it out afterwards and then to go back to the line to send off my package. Time consuming of 45min. But I wasn’t in the rush, just freezing ? and like i said, the stuff was very nice.”

After arriving at our scheduled appointment at another post office, we discovered it had been closed and no one had notified us, even though we had received a confirmation email. We were frustrated and unsure what to do next. Thankfully, we were directed to this location, where Dominique completely turned our experience around. Although she was already assisting another customer, she welcomed us with kindness, professionalism, and patience. “2026 update - Good service and facilities here, 10 years later. No, still no automated machines, but USPS is now in the midst of hard times. I had no wait, the clerk was knowledgeable and attentive, and actually prompted me to request free tracking on the two packages I mailed. I just wish I'd comed a week earlier so I could have bought FOREVER stamps before the price when up to $0.82. Adding that fifth star bc I still don't understand the hate here. [2016]Why all the hate? I visited one afternoon to buy stamps. The line was short, and the clerk went out of her way to show me stamps. There are no automated stamps vending machines in the lobby, and I'll wait for that before I add that fifth star.”
