“It's so easy to shop here. It's pretty quiet, I've never felt cramped or over crowded, everything is easy to find (it's so sensory friendly). The cashier's and stockers are super pleasant and make conversation. Even customers tend to be a little more polite and concientious here. They use sturdy paper bags instead of plastic.
I like that there are coupons displayed on the service counter and there is a community bulletin board by the bathrooms.
They have a lot of grocery (and bakery) options for different dietary needs/restrictions. They carry some of the harder-to-find supplements and more natural/organic toiletries.
Overall, just a great store.”
“It is one of my favorite new stores to go to for Asian goods and products. They have a variety of things as well as a food court with at least 7 different places. I didn't sit there and count them.”
“It's a pretty nice commissary, although it is a bit small. It is located really close to the entrance on 7th, only two turns! It was fairly well stocked and had everything I was looking... with a few exceptions. Staff was polite and helpful! I'm use to having more self check outs, but two is fine for the size of the building, there are 6 other regular lanes that can be used. All in all pretty good stop at the commissary!”
“Good selection of natural/organic items. It definitely comes with a price, many things are expensive but you know that going in. Some things are reasonable, bread, glass bottle milk, and bulk items.
One time we did get bulk item and there were bugs in it! We did return it but it’s put us off of using the bulk items. I’m not sure if it’s ever cleaned or checked.
Glass bottle local milk is the best. Bring the glass back for the credit you paid for it. Also really nice selection of chocolates and sweets.
We don’t buy meat there just due to price.
Overall good it is a good specialty store. Cashiers are nice.”
“I like going here because it brings nostalgia to me of all of the times I would go to the little Asian grocery store with my mom. They are not big. They don't have everything you need. But they have most of the essentials at a fair price. Cool little mom/pop store.”
“Enjoy shopping here. Better prices and selection compared to PA so it's worth the trip for most part. Very congested both inside and in parking. Terrible traffic which seems on par with every parking lot in that area. No flow. You'll be tired of people and driving afterwards.”

“Hi! I’m a FIRM believer in giving credit when credit is due AND acknowledgement for a GREAT work ethic (very rare these days). VALERIE is quite fantastic. I live in the neighborhood and shop at the New Design Giant quite often. Whether she is checking people out or at the self checkout area, she has always been most helpful and seems to always “go the extra mile” to be of service in any way she can. I SO appreciate this and I’m sure others do too. Like I said, I’m in the store often so to see this consistency and to take notice of it and then prompt me to write a review, well, that should definitely be a sign to management. Be kind to her and please give her recognition she deserves!! This means a lot to employees - don’t forget that! Thank you Valerie for trying and making a difference!!”
“Amazing store!! I’m allergic to a lot of things and can’t usually find yummy things to eat at the bigger grocery chains, but mom’s organic market has opened my food options to so much!! The only thing I would wish for is more completely dairy-free, nut-free, egg-free options for things like frozen meals (especially breakfasts) but that is my only note really! Love love love this organic market!!”

“PX has clothing and sales, barber shop, alterations, class VI, fast food and gas. Staff is top notch and will order if they do not have items in stock. 4 stars instead of 5 because though it’s tax free, many of the items you can find on other websites/stores for a cheaper price.”
“The Pharmacy is fabulous and always tries to help with cost and give advice- my favorite Pharmacy in my area.
The grocery store unfortunately is one of my least favorite and I only pick up things when I have to go to the pharmacy as the people are not nice and I would rather drive further to get nicer people.”
“My favorite grocery store! There is always a great variety of items, fruits and veggies are always fresh, and the customer service is TOP notch! I typically shop in person, but recently have been trying out curbside pickup. There was an issue with my most recent order, but Marybeth in customer service is the best! She was able to quickly resolve it. Thanks to her I'll continue to use the curbside service at this specific location!”
“AMAZING EMPLOYEE The other day I came to this food lion which I had never been to before. I wasn’t sure where anything was and the employee Laurie must have seen how confused I was. She came up to me and kindly asked if I needed any help. Then she led me right to what I needed! She told me if I needed help with anything else at all to go find her and she will do the best she can. Truly made what started off to be a stressful shopping trip easy. Thank you Laurie!”
“Easy to get in get what you need and self check out! Also it’s not that much longer to wait for an actual cashier at a register. This is my go to place to get in and get out, also the Pharmacy is great!”

“Amazingly clean inside- wide aisles and many check out lanes. Some have staff, most automatic.
Prices are reasonable compared to other Maryland chains. Good stock of many items, produce was fresh. Bakery smallish.”
“First time in a Weis market. Just went in to browse. Everything 'looked' good, nicely organized, clean, and wide aisles. Was impressed since I only have Food Lion grocery stores near me to compare. Staff not so friendly, at least the ones we encountered. Next visit, I'll try the products and update my review.”
“To me, Lidl has always felt like a fancier version of Aldi, not necessarily better, but a nice complement. My ideal grocery setup would be having Lidl and Aldi side by side, which I haven’t seen in the US yet. Lidl strikes a great balance between quality and price, though its self-checkout system could be a bit more user-friendly. It’s definitely one of my favorite grocery stores.”

I've been in the gym every day this month (October), sans Sundays.That being said......Weis was always my pit stop on the way to work for one thing: DONUUUUUUUUUTS!!!!I really don't have much to say about the store as a grocery store because it's pretty much what you would expect.But those DONUUUUUUUUTS!!! Lord save me...These are the best donuts I've ever had at a grocery store.Which is why I brought up Point #2. It's the last place I should be if I'm trying to lose weight. Hey, don't judge me. Mind your own bathroom scale.The assortment is great and they are ridiculously flavorful. Soft. Flaky. Huge.I could eat them all day! “I've been shopping weis for over 20 years. I love how they're expanding their offerings and also have some concerns. Specifically their meat. It just doesn't taste like meat unless cured. Pork seems normal but steak, even prime, is ick. My largest concern is their Winchester Farms prepackaged chicken. While it tastes good, it has no package date and sell by is three weeks out. Which is impossible.”

“I use my Walmart membership to order on-line for either curb-side pick up or shipping. I also order delivery at times I can't drive to the store. They bring my groceries in and are very courteous and helpful. I prefer their service to Amazon and most anything you can order from one is available at the other.”
“I love this Target because it's clean, and stuff is organized. They are well staffed. Employees are kinda helpful and friendly. They get you in and out quickly. They don't force you to do self check out. Yall know I cringe at that. It's not my job to do your job, Target! I have 0 patience for using a register, and no I have 0 patience to wait to get the check out monitor to help. Here they have registers open at least 3!. Fitting rooms are clean, and organized. I never have to walk in and see a messing room. They do price adjustments if you see something cheaper elsewhere without giving you a hard time. They keep their parking lot clean. I rarely see carts scattered all over.”

“McCutcheon's products are legendary throughout the DelMarVaPa area for their quality. I have never had a butter or jelly made by them I didn't enjoy, and they make the best Apple Butter I have ever had. This review is of the retail location. It's a quaint multi room shop, very country/farmhouse in style staffed by very friendly people who know their product well. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the products they sell. I got my Apple Butter along with smaller jars of Apricot, Peach, and Whole Cherry jellies. The hard part will be not opening them before I get home next week. Very highly recommended!”
