I went into Ace without the item I was trying to repair but came away with the fix. Two employees and another shopper were helping me to zero in on the right product. The man behind the counter is incredibly friendly and actually knows his stuff, which makes a huge difference when you aren't 100% sure what you need for a project. Even though the store has a smaller footprint, they are impressively well-stocked. They carry a smart selection of products that are actually helpful for everyday repairs and painting projects.
It’s quick to get in and out, the service is personal, and it’s just a much more pleasant experience than wandering a warehouse for forty minutes. Highly recommend supporting this local business!

“I was at the Frederick, MD location yesterday, customer service was excellent as usual. I got my parts & was on my way in short order. One troubling thing I noticed was myself & the other half dozen or so customers were all wearing face masks as required by State of Maryland but none of the 3 employees working there were wearing masks. There's no sign on the door to remind folks to wear a mask. I have dealt with Tipco for many years, I really expected the staff to be more professional on that point.”

“I had the opposite experience from other reviewers. First of all, they had exactly the features I needed in stainless-steel legs, different heights and different adjustments, all very well explained on their website. They shipped quickly, and I found the prices quite reasonable. I bought different types, many of them. The carpenter made some errors and we had exchanges, additional shipments, etc. KE Hardware was VERY flexible and accommodating, I can't imagine better customer service. Highly recommended.”
