“This is one of my favorite Dollar General 's!!!!!
... First things first, I moved here from Florida and the Dollar generals in Anne Arundel county and in Baltimore area are so so much better than the ones in Central Florida!
They seem to sell everything from quality bras and comfortable underwear. To medicines to name brand makeup to baby things to furniture, lamps to all name brand types of food, cereals, ice creams, great priced milk even almond milk!
In this particular one off Veterans highway in Millersville, MD. Everybody is always so nice and so helpful and they genuinely want you to save money and explain the quality of your savings If you download the app.
The only reason I haven't visited more often is because I'm a forgetful person and it's not right around the corner from you. Now that I've gone there a couple times to doordash and deliver for other people, I am definitely a true believer in this store and I even got the app.
You can get cash back! And I mean good cash back. For example, they'll tell you, you can earn $3 off Venus four pack razors and the razors will only be $6!!! Other full price convenient and grocery stores, they're I think somewhere from 12 to 16 bucks!! So in retrospect you're only paying $3 for these razors at any Dollar General ( at least for this week's special ? ) because they're giving you immediately another $3 to go spend in their store!!!!! It doesn't get much better than that ? but the nice and friendly and helpful employees really make it a thousand times better than any other discount store I can think of at this time! Or really any store. They definitely raise the bar for quality. Kind friendly, helpful customer service!
To clarify, I do not know anybody that works there. I have never worked here. I've only been in this store four times. This is truly how impressed I am with this store and this location particularly ?
I wish I could remember the name of the young man working Sunday June 23rd, 2024 evening to closing shift, at the register.... because he was terrific!!!! If Dollar general sees this and knows the person's name, please let me know so I can give them a shout out in this review because they gave terrific, joyful, efficient customer service. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about the app while still keeping up with a line and being the only person on the register! And doing all with a smile and genuinely and authentically seemed to love what they do and moved helping people which I think is fantastic!!”
“Very busy every time I go in. Every employee I have encountered has always been friendly and helpful. I love that I can find foods here that I don’t see elsewhere. I have some rather strange food allergies which are difficult to shop around but I always find several yummy items that I can eat.
The Trader Joe’s brand Wisconsin mild cheddar cheese is a favorite at our house. It is so creamy, smooth, and flavorful. Since I live an hour away I always make sure to pick up 2 blocks.”
“I normally shop at Sprouts. Stopped in for the first time and was very pleased. Has the same or more variety then Sprouts and the prices are generally the same. I was happy to find local foods and lots of options for Bell and Evan’s air chilled chicken. Staff were very friendly and I was very comfortable. I would definitely return.”

“I’ve been coming to this store forever and never had a issue, Everyone has always been hospitable to me, It’s unfortunate what happened with the customer regarding the money, Obviously I can’t speak on it because I don’t know what happened, But one thing for sure is you never have to be concerned about your safety in that store…But I guess sometimes we have to put ourselves in other people’s shoes to get a clearer understanding of things, Anyway….There’s a reason why this store gets 5 stores from a lot of customers, I wish all stores were like this…I’ll always wish them well and will always recognize them as being a very important part of the community ?”

“This MOM'S Market does not have a food counter, but plenty of vegan choices on the shelves and in the refrigerated area. Pre-made meals like lasagna and salads, beverages (including a coffee area), bulk items. A great place to stock up on kitchen staples.”

The staff is friendly and responsive to needs. The Commissary offers a meat department with organic and vegan options, deli department with Boar’s Head brand meats and Sara Lee (low sodium) brands, fresh seafood display, pet supplies, and baby supplies. “I never knew how wonderful Aldi was and shower I actually experienced it for myself!! Not only because of their prices which are exceptional, their customer service is second to none they are so fast you actually have to try to keep up lol And in this world nowadays customer service is a rare breed. And they have such unusual and awesome deals and I'm not just talking on products I am talking on clothes, pajamas, jeans, household goods candles plants and if there's ever any problem just take it back No worries whatsoever! And I loved that you never see shopping carts all over their parking lot and not have to worry about them running into your car should have wind catch it or some a responsible shopper just let it go. They're just great all the way around.”
“I think this is a duplicate review… but the Google machine suggested I review this location: this is gotta be one of the best locations in the country. It is easily accessible, it has plenty of parking, it is very spacious inside, very clean, and everything that I want is always in stock. The employees are always very helpful and readily available.
Often as my primary location because of the 365 brand, the butcher, fresh fruit and vegetables and plethora of specialty items.”
“I usually don’t leave reviews, but the woman working pickup orders on 1/23 deserves a shout-out. With the big snowstorm coming, it was expected that some items wouldn’t be in stock. She did a great job with substitutions and even messaged me to give me a heads-up. My order was ready before my pickup time, and I didn’t wait long at all before she brought it out — even though the store was clearly very busy. She was also very friendly when dropping off the groceries. She deserves extra praise for her hard work and positive attitude during such a hectic time for grocery stores.”

“My first time ever shopping at a Lidl. In my area of NY there are Aldi. Lidl has the same kind of set up but, they have a bakery and flower section. Their croissants are BUTTERY DELICIOUSNESS and the cost can not be beat ($.49)!! I bought two dozen of them to take home with me. Prices are exceptional, not only in the bakery. Their specialty area really have some quality appliances at great prices. My next trip back to Maryland, I will make sure to bring back more of those croissants....lol”
“Went here on a whim...b/c i didnt want to drive to ellicott city to get my shawarma fix....one downside is you may have to call to get ahold of someone at the front desk... it was empty when i went and the desk bell didnt help. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The shawarma is sooo much better than the one i got in EC (which tends towards a more tzaziki sauce)... the wings are on par with most bar wings (not a dealbreaker as they were still well portioned) and not overly fried. The fries are very well portioned and not too salty (yay!)... though the fries will not make great leftovers. Solid customer service. In a nutshell, try this place! Got this place bookmarked for later. Thanks!”

“Keith was so incredibly kind and helpful during my visit, observed me having difficulty locating what I needed and swiftly came over asking if he could help. I needed only one jalapeño pepper but there were only multiple jalapeños packaged together for sale on the floor. Keith went to the back and came back out with another pack of jalapeños, asked me which one I wanted, and then repackaged the single pepper for me for individual sale. And he did it all with a smile on his face, like he truly enjoyed his job and being helpful, which is unfortunately not so common these days. Geresbeck’s feels like a true community store, and Keith is a good reflection of that.”
“Expensive, but they have a large selection of healthy, fresh options. Kind of like a boutique Whole Foods or something. It's nice. I stop in from time to time to pick up a few things. They also have a nice prepared foods section.”

“This is an excellent store. I have been there quite a few times and it has yet to let me down with their selections.
The newest thing I've been buy there aside from Costco is steak. (All cuts) Prices are really good and I have found the quality of the cute to be very high. One thing that's very different from Costco is there cuts are individually wrapped for easy storage or freezing.”

“This location is great. They have a nice variety of foods. I went for international items and found Gojukaru, dumpling sauce, Mongolian oil, and got a great slice of pizza. I also order my Starbucks from there (you can order on the app). Plenty of parking, in a central location next to a liquor store, restaurants (Mod Pizza, Chic Fil A, NY Pizza across street, Giant Grocery, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc.) Very convenient!”
“Love food lion. They always have bogo deals and Manager sale prices going on. This is the place to go for all of your food shopping needs. They almost always have a deal on the sodas and different meats. They have an amazing little bakery and deli. They'll also customize cakes here as well. Great store.”
“This LIDL store is larger than their store in Columbia and so has more to offer product wise. Parking and staff are excellent. They have a bakery so, they offer freshly baked breads ? and pastries. Also, they have a good produce section. Lastly, they have a special buys section where you may find clothes and tools ?. Overall, it's a very good LIDL store. I found the cashier to be particularly nice today during my visit ? and, I'll definitely shop here again.”
“Visited this Annapolis Latino market for the first time while searching for Oaxaca cheese and was really impressed. The store was very clean and well stocked with a great selection of Spanish and cultural foods. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was very welcoming and showed me their corn tortilla press used to make fresh tortillas daily.
I left with a stack of tortillas and used them for dinner that night. You could immediately tell they were fresh and made with quality ingredients. I will definitely be back and highly recommend checking this place out”

Aldi buys from the same processors/ distributors as Giant, Safeway, Kroger,etc. When shopping, look for those national brands: Swifts, National, Mountainaire to name a few! Do yourself a favor: save time and keep 20-30% in your wallet!”

“I been going to this location for 3 years now, and can definitely say that is one of the places with the freshest veggies and fruits. The Queso Fresco has the best prices! Other places have it for almost $7, but Aldi’s is less than $3. Also the people that work there are very friendly and always busy. They work really hard.”

“I went to this Shoppers to prepare for the possible upcoming snow storm today and had the best experience. The store was fully stocked. There were workers out and about replenishing shelves that needed it. There were plenty of cashiers, who also helped bag (not always something I get at other local stores, so I consider this a luxury). The store was clean, organized, well stocked, and I left with everything I needed. Kudos! Job well done during a very busy week I'm sure!”
