9127 Reisterstown Rd, Owings MillsI’ve been taking my dog to the wrong groomer for 4 years…. And sadly didn’t discover Erin until 2 weeks before we moved out of state! It’s the best haircut my golden doodle has ever had and for once he was not nervous or anxious leaving there like he always has been with previous groomers. Erin was so sweet and said she would “listen” to my dog when he would “tell her he didn’t like something” and talk to him in a calming voice until he’d calm down. Whereas previous groomers would just want to medicate him. She’s wonderful with dogs and gives a GREAT haircut. Absolutely recommend!!! Soooo bummed we won’t be able to go to her anymore due to moving.

Valley Dog & Cat Hospital
9125 Reisterstown Rd, Owings MillsWe are newer clients of Valley Dog and Cat. We have seen both Dr. Morgan and Dr. Scherr for our two cats. I write this with appreciation for what Dr. Scherr, and the staff involved, did for us when we rescued an abandoned animal from the woods during the rough weather. They were compassionate, attentive and human, especially today, when we thought the animal was actively dying today. They knew exactly what to do and accommodated us quickly even though we were not on the schedule. The results were positive and the prognosis for now was better than expected. We were confident that even if things had gone south, they would be there for us given the circumstances. They are a smaller established practice with a personal touch and decent human beings. Even if they do not provide a service there, they make sure patients are connected with where to get it and they make the time to help research the needs. That is increasingly rare now from other practices we have encountered. They get why it’s important, and it is important to them. It is worth recognizing this and saying so.

9623 Reisterstown Rd A, Owings MillsDr. Rick Paynter has been a true blessing to our family. My wife and I have two one-year-old female kittens — a Ragdoll (mink) and a domestic shorthair — and our experience with him and his team has been outstanding.
At our first visit, we brought in our Ragdoll who was a little underweight. Dr. Paynter took the time to thoroughly assess her, explain everything clearly, and provide us with a thoughtful plan of care. Thanks to his guidance, she is now at a healthy weight and thriving. She is comfortable with Dr. Paynter and his assistants, who handle her with such care and gentleness. We’ll be bringing her back soon for her annual visit with complete confidence.
More recently, our domestic shorthair was diagnosed with feline asthma. The level of attention, patience, and compassion the entire team showed us during this visit was incredibly reassuring. Dr. Paynter even shared insights from his own experiences, which made the conversation feel personal and thoughtful. He gave us an honest, balanced assessment, clearly outlining the pros and cons of medication without any pressure, and encouraged us to take time to discuss our options before making a decision.
We are truly grateful for Dr. Paynter and his team and highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for knowledgeable, compassionate veterinary care!

She really cares about the animals is very knowledgeable. She is very good at dealing with and handling one of my cats who is VERY bad but adorable (AKA Murder Mittens Monroe.) He always looks so amazing after his groom!! I am so lucky to have found a Vet like herself, and her prices are very reasonable. I have nothing but positive things to say.

Owings MillsTanzi tremendously helped my reactive rescue dog shortly after we got him. Before rescuing him, he never had a stable home and was in and out of shelters for his first 2 years of life. After my husband and I adopted him, he was extremely reactive to trucks, other dogs, wildlife, and overall is an anxious dog. He also would become very worked up when meeting new people and would jump on them. Tanzi not only helped us read his body language and understand his needs, but she also taught us amazing techniques for what to do when he encounters a trigger. She came to our home for each lesson and even met us at a local park to help with his reactivity. He is a bigger dog and I was worried he would be too reactive for training, but Tanzi handled him with ease, kindness, and confidence. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her services and I highly respect her and her advice. Her dedication and love for dogs shines brightly and I will always recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer!!!!

The service is great
The staff is friendly our food arrived impressively quick without ever feeling rushed. The highlight of the evening was definitely the atmosphere, as a live mariachi band made their way through the restaurant, even serenading us right at our table during dinner. It added such a personal, festive layer to the night. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious, rounding out what was a super fun experience all around. Don Tigre is a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for great eats and even better vibes.

The bagels are always great. We enjoy their egg sandwiches and Lox with bagels. I have had lunch there and it is very good. Our daughter likes the pizza bagel. The ordering system does a great job of giving you options on your order. We especially like the option of no Italian Seasoning. My only wish is for THB to open a store in Westminster. There are no bagel places in Westminster and our breakfast choices are limited. I hope the business works out and they open a Westminster store.

I got the French toast for $7.99 I think. The service was fast even though it was busy. The pancakes are not thick but they taste good. Be careful adding a lot syrup cause they will absorb it and taste very sweet. The bacon was cooked well and it looked like a lot. The eggs were cooked well.
My french toast was at least 3 whole slices of bread cut into 6 pieces. It tasted great on its own but the syrup and powdered sugar added to it. I would definitely come back here again to try the other food. You pick where you sit after you pay for your order if you are dining in.
