“Our wedding at The Oaks Waterfront Inn was truly a dream come true!! From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by its charm, peaceful beauty, and stunning waterfront views. The staff at The Oaks went above and beyond to make everything seamless. Having everything in one place from the rehearsal dinner and welcome party to the ceremony and reception made the weekend feel so connected and meaningful. “Another year, another amaizing trip to Wade's Point! This was my fourth annual watercolor retreat to this location and i will once again be returning next year. An amazing getaway for a quiet retreat. Huge private property on the water. Enjoy walks, biking, kayaking and more. Breakfast is included with your room and they are super nice about dietary restrictions including gluten free and vegan. Also, they added fresh squeezed orange juice this year.”

“The just working for Hunter’s Tavern on 5/9/26 lunch shift was incredibly rude. Food is always delicious so that was quite a shame to start that way. No greeting, asked yes? condescendingly when we were waiting, didn’t listen to us, and proceeded to chastise us for not having a reservation despite the restaurant being empty.”

“We stayed at this bed-and-breakfast for two nights and three days and had a lovely time. It is just shy of Saint Michael’s so it’s a really quick trip into town from the location. The staff was super friendly, kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. We celebrated our anniversary here and had a terrific time. Can’t wait to come back.”

“Resort is a wonderful family getaway option. Beautiful setting and the amenities are great to keep kiddos of all ages busy. Property and rooms are very clean and well manicured. Some features of our room seemed to be worn and in need of repair. Food options were pricey but overall decent. I would not recommend the breakfast buffet that came with our room. Service was very slow just to get coffee and juices. Then had to ask for cream for my coffee twice before it was brought. The restaurant was not super busy. Some warm buffet options were over heated, hard and tasteless. They were completely out of bagels and waited 20 minutes for them to bring more out. Appeared to be somewhat understaffed. Overall a very nice stay at the hotel and will return.”

“Our stay was 4 days 3 nights 4-2026. The hotel was very clean and every staff person we met, was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is comfortable has a lovely curb appeal. We enjoyed the indoor pool and especially the convenient pool hours of 9 to 11! The location was perfect to visit Easton, St Michaels and even Tilghman Island was only a short drive. The bonus was we enjoyed a remarkable seafood meal on the drive and went back twice to Chesapeake House’s delicious reasonably priced meals!”

“Nice clean rooms beds were neatly made upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious and really good and the pool is very clean and nice. If you're looking for a place to stay while on vacation or anything else with the family this place is nice and clean and safe and i would highly recommend it”

“We had zero problem with this stay and would come back. Quite frankly some of the reviews for this motel are over the top dramatic and I think you need to keep in mind the price point when booking this motel. You're not going to get a five star Fours Seasons type luxury hotel for what your paying to stay here. Be realistic. It is an excellent value for service, cleanliness, and location.

The most important thing to me is cleanliness. The room was spotless. No bedbugs and the bathroom, towels and sheets were clean. Is the hotel dated in some regards? Absolutely, but again, the price point. Saying that, the carpet wasn't in the best condition, this seems to be a common complaint, but it was clean. The maid came around every day and left the our room cleaned.

This is a motel, so it's one level on ground level. Did a fly out two come in during our stay? Yes. This seemed to be a common complaint as well, but this is not the hotel's fault. This was a result of leaving the door open to unpack or whatever else. I'm sure flies come into your home unintentionally too and you wouldn't like people calling your home dirty. I think it's unfair to mark the hotel down for that. It's not like the room itself was attracting them as some of these reviews eluded to. There was a strong smell of sulfur when initially turning the faucet on or taking a shower, but this passed and did not linger.

We didn't get to use the pool because of the weather, but that looked well kept. We also didn't get to enjoy the free breakfast during our stay because we went right into town each morning, so I can't comment on that either.

The men in the lobby were kind and they shared their knowledge of the area with us. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's a three to five minute drive into town where parking is free.

I would stay here again. It's clean and close to town.”
