“We applied for a Home Equity Loan in July 2022 with Arundel Federal Savings Bank. We received a competitive rate and decided to move forward. Likewise, we ended up working with Loan Originator Joann Shipley. In terms of customer service, Ms. Shipley is truly amazing! She responds to phone class and e-mails quickly, she keeps you in the loop at every stage of the application process, she is kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I have honestly never had such a positive customer service experience in my life. In fact, I ended up testing positive for COVID a few days before our home appraisal was scheduled and not only were the staff at Arundel Federal flexible, Ms. Shipley asked me if we needed anything because she could drop off supplies at our doorstep if need be. We were fine but I could not believe that a perfect stranger would offer something like that. This woman is an angel and was a wonderful reminder that good people still exist in the world. Unfortunately, our home appraisal came in a little low (no fault of the staff at Arundel Federal Savings Bank) so we chose to go in a different direction. Nevertheless, given the A + experience and the competitive rates that we received, we would recommend them to anyone. “Everyone is very friendly and help with any issues. I do feel like they are behind the times a bit. Examples being they don't not give debit cards out for a business accout, you can not deposit checks by phone, takes way to long for your account to be updated after a deposit.”

They are quick to catch any fraudulent charges, quick to settle any discrepancies, and very easy to communicate with - you can choose to use their app, website, branch locations, or call them. I've had multiple checking accounts, a savings account, credit card, and car loan through them and I've never had any complaints.”

“Don’t get me wrong everything about this branch is amazing, the people and convenience of how many branches are around, however, as I did open a new account, if I knew it would take a week and a half to have my payroll check to clear when I deposited to open the account….i would have paid somewhere to cash it and deposited money. This is the only thing that makes me unhappy, cause now my bills are late and I’m having to pay late fees……”
