U-Haul Moving & Storage at Mass Ave Boston offers truck rentals, trailers, cargo vans, pickup trucks, and self-storage units, along with U-Box containers and moving supplies. The facility is described as accessible and secure, with a loading dock that can fit many vehicles, making loading and unloading easy. Carts are available to help move items, and workers check on the storage units. However, the area is noted as not the best part of Boston, and there can be minor pest issues like mouse droppings in units, despite rodent poison being present. Customer service experiences are mixed. Some staff members are reported as very helpful, even staying late to assist, with specific employees praised for being awesome and making the rental process efficient, friendly, and quick. Conversely, other experiences include being ignored for extended periods, receiving rude reprimands, and finding service slow when accessing U-Box containers. The self-storage is only accessible during business hours, so time-sensitive access is not guaranteed. While some customers report reservations being mishandled at other locations, treatment at this specific Mass Ave Boston location is noted as very good by comparison. Overall, the facility provides necessary moving and storage solutions with varying levels of service.
