“Reviewing with how they actually dealt with a mistake. I had made several purchases in store, one of which I carried out and the rest was supposed to be shipped. They mistakenly marked several of the items as purchase in store, which meant I didn’t not receive them in person or in the mail. I called them up and the issue was resolved withing five minutes. Excellent customer service!”

“The store is small compared to their other stores, but the staff is always friendly and the store is always neat. Other reviews complained about the selection and at times it can be limited but their inventory is geared towards their customers. Usually I’m able to get what I want at this location and oftentimes if I’m not it’s not available at any of the other nearby locations. It’s a well suited store for our neighborhood.”

“If you are unique in style and want what is in your imagination. The style no other retailer boutique has, and you want to be the only one OKW is the place to go. This boutique being small and cozy with rolls of fabric and creations in the work, is only apart of it. The best part is the creator, the mastermind behind making you unique, and thats Waheeda. I was going to a wedding in March 2020 and desperately wanted to stand out in my uniqueness, and someone referred her. I hesitated in calling because everyone else was saying you should have done this 3-6 months ago, and to be honest, this was last minute, so i said, why not? They can just say no. I called and explained everything, and without hesitation, she made time in her schedule. I called this professionalism when every deadline was met, and i walked away very pleased with her creation and how she catered to my unique style is the best feeling. I am writing this review now, a year later because of covid, the wedding was canceled, and the dress/jumper did not have its debut, and i just tried it on, and i still love it. I wanted to thank Waheeda for all her effort, time, understanding, and patience to pay attention to the details and made me feel like i was her only client.”
“I took a trip to find this store. It was a wonderful experience. I bought a small set of rosewood beads and a back issue of Trixycle magazine. The shop has a nice selection of small figurines, various pouches, and a lot of fabric items. There is a small selection of books I haven’t seen elsewhere, and many magazines 50% off the cover price. “This store is pretty nice. They have a lot of selections and have good prices/deals! If you’re looking for an outfit for any occasion im 90% sure you can find it here. Only downside is that the racks are way to close and you have to squeeze through which is pretty annoying. They is also clothes on the floor sometimes and it can be a little bit messy. Overall the store isn’t all that bad!”
“December Thieves is an absolute gem of a store -- but what makes it truly unique and wonderful for me are the private shopping appointments.
While I love beautiful things -- jewelry, fabrics, clothes -- I have a very difficult time shopping for clothes for myself. I have spent too many years trying to make myself fit into images created by fast fashion brands and finally realized that I couldn't do that anymore.
I had shopped at December Thieves before and found pieces that I loved -- so when I saw that I could book an hour to explore what clothing would make me feel most like myself -- most magical -- when I wear it, I decided to go for it.
If you are considering a shopping appointment -- please do it. If something didn't work for me, I just set it aside until I found something that made me feel amazing (that ended up being two blouses and a dramatic split skirt). The team at December Thieves was so skilled in making sure the experience was positive and was totally invested in making it about what I loved and what felt good on me. I am so truly thankful for that.
I have worn the outfits I bought in September multiple times now and every time I wear them I feel powerful and magical! I hope the same for everyone!”

“After a weird experience at the Newbury location, I was hesitant to come here, but was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the employees were! The store itself is neatly organized by category and you can find well-priced pieces from a variety of brands, from more affordable ones to high-end designers. There are fitting rooms to try things on, as well as fun accessories and jewelry. I ended up buying a pair of Levi's shorts, and would definitely come back!”
