The Daily Stroll Grooming Salon
417 Harvard St, BrooklineOur dog has been going to Daily Stroll for years. Over this time, Peter and Brendan have taken the extra time to really get to know our dog, us, and they go above and beyond to keep us updated on what’s going on with him. Peter manages to do this while managing the location,
Which is no small task. I see the genuine care that Peter and Brendan have not just for our dog but for all the dogs at Daily Stroll. We recently had to travel and Peter and Brendan each took care of our dog for a few days, sending us multiple daily updates and pictures and reassuring us that he was being loved and well taken care of. Just wanted to recognize their efforts and amazing service. Thank you both!

The Shire Concierge, LLC
30 Kilsyth Rd, BrooklineI didn't know cat sitting could be this good. My cats usually hate when I travel. With my old cat-sitting agency, they were always fine but VERY grateful for me to be home. With Michelle, they're obviously glad to see me when I come back, but they've clearly had an awesome weekend! I imagine my cats saying to me: "Oh hey, did you leave? Nice to see you, I guess." They're definitely contented and happy while I'm away, which utterly warms my heart. Michelle loves my cats and isn't too shy to say it! I adore the pictures she sends me and she clearly spends a while playing with them during every visit. She's even sent me pictures where she was clearly on the floor in order to stick a hand in their favorite tunnel, so it's active, engaged play time! She honestly goes above & beyond in taking care of them. Even the house is cleaner (she tidies up the kitchen...she's put away dishes I left in the rack & cleaned the counters)! I would never expect this but I really appreciate it -- such a nice treat to return to after a trip. Speaking of treats, about ~50% of the time I come home to new toy(s) that she's given the cats, which they relish. My cats & I all love Michelle. I can't recommend her enough!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Oasit’s Sweet Dessert Studio
1428 Beacon St, BrooklineHad a really nice experience here. I purchased the strawberry and Oreo shaved snow. Both were excellent.
My party also had a few children with us who weren’t the easiest to tame. At one point, a kid dropped all of our water cups. They offered to come and replace all of them. Even though we declined, the thought was very nice. Additionally, a kid dropped some of the dessert on the floor. They were very kind and treated us well.
I definitely intend to give this place more business. Great establishment and great food.

Olba
1383 Beacon Street, BrooklineReally good! They were really nice too. We had the chicken shawarma wrap, the lamb wrap, and the mixed platter. All were delicious! The only thing was it was small in here and there aren’t much places to sit. I give this place 5 stars and will definitely come back!

Far Out Ice Cream
419 Harvard St, BrooklineI have to say that I overall love far out and have gone many times, however this time my dad and I both had chunks of unwanted fruit at the bottom of our cups (he got mango and blueberry but got strawberry chunks at the bottom, and I got strawberry but had chunks of mango at the bottom of mine) leading me to believe that the machines weren’t cleaned very well. Thankfully neither of us have a food allergy but if we did, this would be very dangerous. A disappointing experience at one of my favorite dessert places

Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Beacon St
1003 Beacon St, BrooklineI had to kill some time in this area and looked up coffee shops. There were quite a few different spots in the area. I decided on this shop and I’m so glad I did. Iris was warm and engaging when she took my order. She heated up my Morning Bun to perfection. Happy I made it here.
