Pet Grooming
No Bones About It
1786 Beacon St, BrooklineLove this place!! My dog has been going to No Bones for over 3yrs and just loves it. Some reviews are disappointing because I've had nothing but a great experience with them. My LabX goes home tired every day, the staff is awesome walking them at least 4x a day and it shows. Some would say it's small but I've been to a few other daycare in the area and not much of a difference, plus you're able to see them in the open not hidden!! They definitely go above & beyond making beds for them every day making them happy and content!

Brookline Grooming & Pet Supplies
146-148 Harvard St, BrooklineI have a mini labradoodle (~40lbs) and take him here every 6-8 weeks for grooming. They do an excellent job. He always comes back handsome, smelling nice, and happy.

Pet Care
VCA Metro Cat Hospital
1630 Beacon St, BrooklineI really enjoyed my visit yesterday with Dr. Kabler. I appreciate their sensitivity to their human clients financial concerns/abilities and provide multiple options for route of care. The exam was thorough and Dr. Kabler was great about answering questions and giving advice. I also really appreciated Dr. Kabler's holistic approach and point of view.My only complaint was that my appointment was suppose to begin at 1. I arrived early to the appointment with my cats records and did not see a vet tech until close to 1:20 and the vet until after 1:30. I don't mind waiting, I just would have appreciated being told that when I arrived. None the less, an excellent visit and I highly recommend this clinic.

Pet Sitting & Training
The Cooperative Dog
1786 Beacon St, BrooklineWe brought home our Siberian husky as a puppy and Vera has helped us navigate raising her through puppy socialization classes, outdoor group walking classes, and canine good citizenship classes. Vera went above and beyond to ensure we had the skill set to ensure the safety of our dog when we were participating in our mountaineering hobbies.

woof local
672 Chestnut Hill Ave, BrooklineI’ve reviewed WoofLocal before but wanted to re-review since some time has passed. John and his team are the best. Caring and compassionate, and they really know and love my weird little doggie girl. John has been a hugely important part of my dog’s life since 2020, and has been a godsend for me with work travel and the return to office transition. My dog LOVES when John comes to pick her up for playgroup, and I know she is in the best hands when she stays with him for boarding. John is responsive and flexible, and I feel so fortunate so have found him and his company.

For the Love of Jobe - Pet Services, LLC
30 Kilsyth Rd, BrooklineI didn't know cat sitting could be this good. My cats usually hate when I travel. With my old cat-sitting agency, they were always fine but VERY grateful for me to be home. With Michelle, they're obviously glad to see me when I come back, but they've clearly had an awesome weekend! I imagine my cats saying to me: "Oh hey, did you leave? Nice to see you, I guess." They're definitely contented and happy while I'm away, which utterly warms my heart. Michelle loves my cats and isn't too shy to say it! I adore the pictures she sends me and she clearly spends a while playing with them during every visit. She's even sent me pictures where she was clearly on the floor in order to stick a hand in their favorite tunnel, so it's active, engaged play time! She honestly goes above & beyond in taking care of them. Even the house is cleaner (she tidies up the kitchen...she's put away dishes I left in the rack & cleaned the counters)! I would never expect this but I really appreciate it -- such a nice treat to return to after a trip. Speaking of treats, about ~50% of the time I come home to new toy(s) that she's given the cats, which they relish. My cats & I all love Michelle. I can't recommend her enough!

Far Out Ice Cream
419 Harvard St, BrooklineSuper cute place, even on a rainy afternoon it was still pretty busy. The ice cream was good, it was nice having the fresh fruit mixed in but nothing crazy. The kiddie size feels a bit expensive - I got a regular and my friend got a small kiddie size, and I think my regular was about double the size for only an extra dollar.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Beacon St
1003 Beacon St, BrooklineThis was my first ever Tatte location I went to. It was warm out so I sat outside for a nice view. Got the prosciutto toast with pesto and goat cheese and now it’s my go to Tatte dish. Their honey halva house latte is a must try too - also my go to Tatte drink.
