PetSmart
160 Alewife Brook Pkwy, CambridgeWe cannot say enough positive things about the training at this PetSmart location! Our trainer, Hannah S, is incredible! She is highly knowledgeable on all things training, breaks it down to each dog’s individual needs, and is all around an amazing trainer and human! We have had an incredible experience with her beginner class and have already started the intermediate classes.

Crate Escape
368 Huron Ave, CambridgeWe feel fortunate to have found Crate Escape too when we got our first pup 20 years ago. We have been customers ever since using all of the services they offer including daycare, overnights, and training. The wonderful staff is so caring and responsible, they are like a second family, and our dogs see it as their home away from home.We trust them implicitly with our precious pups—we don’t know what we’d do without our Crate Escape family!

Good Dog Boston
43 May St, CambridgeI would recommend Good Dog Boston to anyone! Our trainer Jeff was patient, kind, and extremely helpful when working with us and our dog Miley. Miley struggles with reactivity triggered by other dogs and living in downtown Boston makes avoiding other dogs nearly impossible. Jeff provided a tiered program which laid the ground work for Miley's basic obedience and built up to working through her reactivity issues. We have already seen huge improvement in Miley's behavior and all thanks goes to Good Dog Boston!
Also shoutout to Jeff's furry assistants: Danny, Halo, & Doctor for being the good-est boys and helping their friend Miley with her manners!
Truly a 5 star experience!

Cafe Barada
2269 Massachusetts Ave, CambridgeNice spot for Middle Eastern food (Lebanese). The service is great. I like the falafel. I used to come often many years ago when the restaurant was in Arlington, and was happy to discover it is just as nice now.

Circus Cooperative Cafe
31 Putnam Ave, CambridgeSuper friendly, cosy, and community-focused spot. They're stocked with free covid tests and masks, and other personal hygeine stuff for folks who need, and always have flyers/posters for interesting campaigns and events going on in the area. There's also free WiFi, seats where you can use a laptop (and others where you're asked not to), and an air purifier in the middle of the space. Aaaand the coffee is really tasty!

Alive & Kicking Lobsters
269 Putnam Ave, CambridgeProbably the best seafood chowder and lobster sandwich I’ve had whilst in Boston, much better than the well known and touristy places… The staff are friendly and atmosphere felt local and no fuss. Highly recommended! Inside seating available.

Lizzy's Ice Cream
29 Church St, CambridgeHad a bit of time before dinner and, wait! +Ice Cream+ sign, I was lured in. Who say ya’ can’t have ice cream in January, and before dinner?
This was a great surprise and it’s a darn good thing that I don’t live close by. Really, creamy texture and just the right chewiness. Not like bubblegum chewy; am I making sense, here? Generous portions and reasonable prices.
Definitely adding Lizzy’s to my must visit list.

Bosso Ramen Tavern
24 Holyoke St, CambridgeI met a friend for lunch at Bosso Ramen Tavern which is a cozy and homey spot in Harvard Square. There was no wait so it was easy to get seated and have a quick lunch. I was totally taken with the lunch set, even though it was too much food. I got the umami ramen, the green salad and added the tuna avocado sushi (which was almost like a little hand roll). Payment and ordering occur entirely through your phone.

There's little to no wait at 9am on a Sunday so I definitely recommend coming in then to try these amazing bagels. Amazing stop if you're in Cambridge or looking for a new favorite bagel shop!

Fresh Boston - Cambridge
CanalSide Food & Drink, 100 Cambridgeside Pl, CambridgeIt says a lot when the preparation team takes real pride in their work.
While waiting, I stepped back and watched the team at Fresh Boston – Cambridgeside build my sandwich. The cleanliness, care, and attention to detail were immediately obvious. Everything looked organized, fresh, and intentional.
The sandwich itself was packed, fresh, and absolutely worth the price.
There’s fast food… and then there’s Fresh Boston.
Great experience all around.
