“We came in to purchase a couch a few months ago and the sales experience was not great. I was hesitant to come back, glad we did though bc this experience with Ana was 100% different.We decided to go in again today, because I saw a piece for furniture I saw online and I wanted it. I was prepared to walk in and just tell the staff to let me be due to my last experience, however, one employee stood out. She said hello when we walked in and asked if she could help. I immediately said " no I know what we need and I will find you when I'm ready". She didn't follow us around like the other sales rep did in our previous visit, she respected and acknowledged what I said. Unlike our first experience. She stayed close in case we needed her, but didn't force anything on us. When we were ready she helped us. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and helped with the purchase.I truly feel other sales reps should take a page from her book. Walking into a furniture store sometimes feels like walking into a car show room. Remember, people are there to buy something, maybe change up your sales approach and hire more people like her and the sales will keep coming.Thank you again Ana Mendez! We will be back again, and will be sure to come to you. I appreciate your attention to detail and making me feel heard, understood and using active listening to help me find what I needed.”

“Strong value, service and selection, Dream Decor in Springfield, is better than any other furniture store in the area. The staff is fully bi-lingual and knows the product and what is and is not available in certain colors. Lastly, the decor isles are complimentary to the furniture they have on the showroom floor.”
“I've purchased a few things from Skip's to date: our pool shed in 2020, which is a great addition to our pool area. We had electricity run to it, and it's a hub for our summer pool time - a cold drink, some music... its perfect. It was a great purchase and the guys who placed it for us were also great, working on a really hot day to get it in for 4th of July. I also purchased a really pretty hutch for my kitchen. It was a little bit bumped up due to being stored in a crappy place (not sure they were planning to actually sell it...) but they were great in letting me negotiate a fair price. I was able to repair it myself and it's been a gorgeous addition to my kitchen. Most recently I went to Skip's and Caitlin was really helpful. Friendly and really giving with her time. Honestly, she wasn't just a really kind and patient employee of Skip's, she's someone I'd actually want to be friends with. I've never had a bad experience here, and would encourage people to come and have a poke around the store. There are so many beautiful pieces of furniture and some really friendly people there to help. :-)”
“Really good. Everything perfect! Fresh rolls light and some magic spice id don't recognize but love. Green Curran and Red Curry were spicy with the right amount of heat. Don't let the lack of decor bother you. One of the best Thai I have tried.”

“This place is great! Found exactly what I was looking for, a quality futon at a great price that is CertiPur-certified and doesn't smell like formaldehyde. Anne was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Don't buy futon mattress from Amazon, shop local! Speaking of local, made in the USA! Made in Connecticut! Made in East Hartford! They have unique pieces of furniture also and some pretty cute paintings!”

“QUALITY. USA MADE, mostly. More $ than big name down the street, but REAL FURNITURE, not fast-fashion veneer. Last month my sister asked about the new couch - we bought it 13 years ago & sit on jt all night every night, it's our only seating in living room. She's at our house regularly. It still looks perfect. Bought Amish-style tables here. Dovetail joints, tight, SOLID CHERRY, gorgeous. Buy here if you want it to last. Oh - no salesperson follows you, like the ads promise.”
“Brought my Dolphin pool cleaning robot to Namco on Boston rd in Springfield and was helped by Paul. We was amazing and he helped me get it fixed and running again with no problem. I highly recommend if you have an issue with your Dolphin robot to bring it there and ask for Paul!! Two thumbs up and five stars for you Paul!!”

Uncertain which way to go...Hazel offered to come to our home and she literally transformed it! Her enthusiasm is incredible - never had such an enjoyable purchasing experience. Our style was all over the place and she figured out what it was (mid century modern) & how to make it cohesive while using many things we already had.
