Thinking I could maybe find ones of a similar size, I brought the remaining bracket to Florence Hardware and showed it to them. They led me through the labyrinth and FOUND ME THE EXACT SAME BRACKETS. From 2 decades ago. This place/these lovely folks are a bit magical...”
“I was researching e-bikes and came across Highland bike shop. I saw they stocked the Velotric e-bike I was interested in. What a great experience. Very impressed when I walked in. Both the bike display area and service area were very neat and organized. I was greeted right away. I did my research and mentioned the two models I was interested in. Both bikes were pulled out for my inspection. Both the sales person and myself went out for a ride with both bikes. I was very impressed with that. I rode both bikes during the test ride and all of my questions about the two different models were answered and made my decision much easier to make. Such a nice, low pressured, and pleasing experience overall. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.”

“I went to Larry’s Heating, Hardware & Plumbing Supply as a last resort after visiting three other plumbing stores. Here’s a little backstory: I had taken the drain out of my tub, thinking it would be a simple fix. Turns out, it’s an old tub that needed a pretty specific piece(at least some kind of adapter) and I couldn’t find it anywhere.
While I didn’t end up finding the exact part, I want to give a huge shoutout to Richard at Larry’s. He went above and beyond, he gave me advice, helped clean the old piece, and even let me borrow his tool so I could get everything back in place. I was seriously so grateful.
For context, at the first plumbing store I visited, the guy just threw my stuff on the counter and told me to call a plumber. I get it I’m a woman walking into a plumbing shop…but Larry’s made me feel capable and encouraged me to be a problem-solver.
I don’t know what else to say except thank you. Please support local businesses like this one. They make a real difference. 🙏”
“This place is absolutely amazing. You have to go and see for yourself. If you need tools, power tools, and everything in between, they have them all. Also, prices from CHEAP to expensive to fit your specific needs. You can drop 40 on a cheap side grinder, or 150 on a better quality one. This place is a DIY persons heaven.”

“I visited this Home Depot for the purpose of seeing about replacement screens from windows I had purchased from there several years ago. I went to the Millwork department where I met Ian. After explaining my situation Ian was very helpful and got me a quote which was emailed to me a few days later. I then went back to the store on Saturday and again spoke with Ian who was able to place the order for me. Afterwards I roamed the store and bought a few others items. Overall the store was clean and well stocked. Other employees I came in contact with were friendly and helpful with the questions I asked. Plenty of free parking.”

and Scott stuck with it! I left with 30 something screws and a totally uplifted spirit. I didn't even get to pet the cat!
