The Common Dog
57 Garden St, EverettThis is, hands down, the best doggie daycare I've seen. All the folks at Common Dog are wonderful; they're knowledgeable and experienced. Everyone on the staff treats the dogs with kindness and respect. Common Dog offers interesting and informative classes on how to help not only the dogs to be the best they can be, but also helps the owners do their best to give our furry friends a wonderful life. Their groomers are great as well. My dog actually stays clean for longer than a few days after her day of beauty. Can't say enough about CD! They're the best!!

Untangled Tail
7 Oakes St #1A, EverettI can’t recommend Untangled Tail highly enough. I’ve worked with several groomers over the years, and Brenda stands out as the most skilled and professional by far. My dog has very sensitive skin and often had flare-ups after grooming elsewhere, but since switching to Untangled Tail, he’s done exceptionally well.
Not only does he always look fantastic, but the appointments are also noticeably more efficient than with other groomers. At this point, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care.
Beyond her technical skill, Brenda is kind, organized, flexible, and excellent at communication, making scheduling and coordination seamless.

Richie's Retail Slush & Food, Inc.
2084 Revere Beach Pkwy, EverettRichie’s slush is an amazing family owned small business and is all about serving the community. I have been a life long Richie’s Italian ice fan since I was a little kid. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with stage 3b colorectal cancer and their Italian ice helped me so much throughout my treatment process. There were days when I couldn’t stomach anything besides eating cups of Richie’s slush, it was so soothing and made me feel so much better. When I was on a clear liquid diet that lemon slush was a saving grace for me. After having multiple surgeries to remove half of my rectum and lower intestines being in the hospital for a week two different times, all I ate for days on end was Richie’s slush. It was so soothing and comforting it really made a huge difference and lifted my spirits, and made the pain in my stomach so much milder. I can’t even explain the difference it made in my hospital stays. I am getting a colonoscopy in a few days and I have gallons of Richie’s lemon slush in my freezer for before my procedure and after. I recently purchased a few gallons from a third party retailer that didn’t store the product correctly and the slush became separated. I contacted Richie’s and they went above and beyond to replace the product. This family owned company is as good as it gets, friendly staff, amazing owners, stands by there product and is genuinely here for their community. They even went as far as shipping there Italian slush machines from Italy to make the best product possible. This is why I continue to drive 35-40 min both ways to get this amazing product. To the Richie’s Italian ice family, I can’t thank you guys enough for your product and can’t even express how much it has helped me throughout my treatment process, healing and cancer battle. Even my dog is hooked on your lemon slush lol, almost every night we all sit down and enjoy Richie slush. It doesn’t matter if it’s a hot summer day or a freezing New England winter night we have to have that soothing slush!! 💙🙏💙

Park-9 Dog Bar
48 Waters Ave #1, EverettThis is a great concept, which I hope spreads. Looking at the layout also be you can tell that this establishment was designed by dog (and people) savvy leadership.
There are indoor and outdoor on or off leash sections, which are divided by double doors so that no dogs can escape from the off leash to on leash section. The on leash section even has extra leashes attached to picnic tables if you want to ensure that they stay super close under the table.
We decided to explore both at different times without our puppy since she is only 6 months. Other guests would ask if they could pet our dog/ introduce and we followed the same courtesy. Pretty much every person we met was extremely kind and respectful. This place self selects for dog lovers.
The “rules” for the off leash section (e.g., no outside treats or toys, no on leash dogs) make complete sense from a resource guarding and aggression perspective, and in general we didn’t see many problems there for the two hours we were there.
With that said, there was that “one dog” in the off leash section (which looked like some kind of doodle or poodle mix), who was definitely being a little “too much.” I repeatedly saw him chase, bite, and bully the new coming dogs. It was clearly not just “rough play” since he was going for places like the ears, neck, and face with his ears tucked back and growling. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being a deadly dog fight and 1 being air snaps or growling—this was like a 2/5. In a way it was almost a perfect case study for early signs of a dog fight emerging.
The whole time, it was unclear where his owner was (everyone is supposed to be watching their own dogs in the off leash section). Thankfully, the staff got involved and separated the doodle/ blocked him from other dogs, but honestly they should not have had to do that. All in all, I have definitely seen worse, but I would personally not bring my dog to the off leash section until she is at least a year old, and if I had a smaller breed like a pomeranian or chihuahua, I probably would never take them there.
But basically if you use the same common sense you would at the park, or on a hike, you should be fine. Most people are extremely respectful, but like always, there might be a few irresponsible jerks out there.
10/10 would go again.

Zuzu Momo Restaurant and Bar
291 Main St, EverettIf you're visiting ZuZu Mo:Mo, don't leave without trying the **Bhutan** and **Bhatti Style Sukuti**. They are easily two of the best items on the menu.
The **Bhutan** is packed with bold Nepali flavors, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right with a delicious balance of spices. Every bite is rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying.
The **Bhatti Style Sukuti** is the real standout—smoky, tender, and bursting with authentic grilled flavor. The spice level is spot on, making it the perfect dish for anyone who loves traditional Nepali cuisine.
These dishes taste homemade, are full of flavor, and are worth every penny. If you're looking for authentic Nepali food, ZuZu Mo:Mo absolutely delivers. Highly recommended—I can't wait to order them again!
