“Let’s face it, hardware is hardware, but great service is another thing! I go to Hillside for their extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly employees, that and the bitchin’ antique radio playing cool jazz! I live close enough to three other similar stores (2 are Ace & arguably more convenient) but I chose to go to Hillside because Tom, the manager & Jerry, the owner (no cartoon jokes!!) take the time to help me sort out what I need for projects and products. And when I’ve had to return items, I’ve never had to justify myself. The whole staff carries the same helpful, relaxed attitude and it’s obvious that’s something that’s instilled from the top down! Harder to find these days than a left-handed smoke shifter! (You’ll find one in Aisle 2 in the plumbing section in the basement BTW)”
“A huge thank you to Monique And Max for their help with some flooring, I needed to return for my employer. Monique took the time to look up the purchase and was very helpful, patient, and friendly. I was very surprised also at Max’s enthusiasm to be so helpful with unloading the flooring and bringing it into the store for me, as most stores, I frequent, found not too many employees to be very helpful. Thank you guys so much! I wanted to add a thank you to Jill also because every time I’ve shopped in the store she’s always been super friendly. It seems like a good working environment as I have never seen any employees look grumpy and they always seem to interact well with each other”

“I wanted to buy the 4 outdoor dining chairs that were high up on the wall display. Went to the service desk asked for help and no one came. I did ask the garden employee Jim who was outside and without hesitation he came right over and got the chairs for me. He also opened a box for additional chairs that I wanted. He saved Home Depot from a disappointed customer to one who will return again ! I almost walked out empty handed but instead bought 6 chairs ! Yay Jim ??⭐️

“I came across this website when I was redoing an older TV armoire. The overlays were exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price. Shipping was quick and the instructions that came with them were perfect. All I can say is WOW, what a transformation they made!! The TV armoire went from old and dark to fresh and new. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!”

“Overall, I shop here a lot and love it.. I usually get great cs from guys like Anderson, Joshua,+++ but there are some reps who go out of their way being rude and downright unprofessional. One guy, Robb, I have noticed refers to himself as a manager yet clearly doesn’t behave or speak like one. Condescending temperament and horrible cs, coupled with poor knowledge of HD practices”

This Home Depot location has become a second home for us and we have yet to have a bad experience. Every associate we have met has been very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. A lot more than I can say for the comparatively rude and unhelpful associates we have had the displeasure of encountering in the Lowe's down Andover St. We had been going to both stores depending on an item's cost/availability, but will definitely be shopping here exclusively out of the two from now on!”
