“Friendly and professional staff. I don't come here often. My ID couldn't be verified at another liquor store Cardoza's Wine & Spirits. The cashier didn't want to see my birth date. I was in a hurry because there was a party in the evening. Then I came here. They have a full range of liquor. And the price is reasonable. I verified my ID with the staff right away and they said my ID was good. Then I purchased the wine. Thank you for your friendly staff. You are very helpful ?”
“This place has pretty good hours. The staff is very friendly. I once stopped in and had money in the wrong bank account. My Debit card was only accepted for half the price of a Sams 12 pack. I thought there was plenty of money in that account and was embarrassed. The clerk just asked to see my license to show that i was local and let me come back later to pay. It was a very nice thing to do.”

“Good people - good selection of liquors and wines...mixers are also available as are cigarettes and cigars.. Prices maybe slightly higher than larger liquor stores, but the convenience of being less than 2 miles from Old Silver Beach makes up it. Small quantities such as pints and airplane bottles are available for some popular liquor varieties”
“The prices seamed reasonable and the selection is enormous. They also have a rewards program. Today I purchased this year's Beaujolais Nouveau from the man that started it all, Georges Dubeouf, and was pleasantly suprised to find an offering from Westport. It’s weird that you put your order in a basket, and the person behind you puts their order and it goes on top of yours ?. “I’m a disabled veteran. I’m missing a leg. I stopped by 3 years ago and Gary the owner said just call and tell us your order. For three years when I go by they bring my order to my truck. What outstanding customer service. I’ll never go to another liquor store. Whatever they charge it’s worth it. They stepped up and for years gave great service with a smile. “Very friendly staff, great service and prices. I was taken back by one thing though, prior to cashing out my order I asked the register attendant for a couple Nips of Strawberry Smirnoff...his response still has me kind of dumbfounded... Here's what he said. "I apologize for this inconvenience Sir however Nips (of any shape, sort, kind, brand, flavor, etc) are BANNED IN FAIRHAVEN.. I kind of paused for a second and said " can you repeat that, I must have heard you wrong " he said " No Sir you DID NOT hear me wrong, NIPS ARE BANNED IN FAIRHAVEN, as of Jan 1st of this year 2024.. I haven't researched the reason yet but i am about to right now...
So after researching the reason for the ban on Nips I learned that the primary reason is they are extremely easy to drink and toss out a vehicle window adding to the ever growing amount of trash found on every roadside,
Also the following towns were the first in line to Ban them
Chelsea, Newton, Falmouth, Wareham, Mashpee and Brewster, according to published news accounts.”
