“Jen, in the Design Dept. and Matt, in the Operations Dept. at Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops were so great to work with from the minute we walked in their showroom until the countertops and cabinets were installed in our home. They both were very patient and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Their team was meticulous, every detail was reviewed and explained. The contractor and designer they recommended were equally great to work with! We love our new kitchen!”

“Really great experience there. Super service and inventory. Steve was really great to work with! Our plumber said the same thing as they had a problem with a a damaged toilet and they swapped it out without a headache. Seems a good value.”

“I had the privilege of working with Malaika on my kitchen design and cabinets. I must say she was well knowledgeable about the products. She always made time for me to come in and change my mind, or change the design or the color. She would do it without a grumble or fuss. She was very patient with me especially when I know I'm very hard to please and she was able to please me with sales of my cabinets.”

“A wonderful store for restaurant supplies that is open to the public. Baking and cookware, bulk ingredients and spices, and plenty of containers for whatever you're about to cook/bake/fry. Awesome people and a wonderful place to shop.”

“By far the best experience I’ve had with a home improvement company. Brian K and the staff at Tile Shop in Avon were extremely helpful knowledgeable and honest! After going to multiple home improvement stores looking for tile, we ended up at Tile Shop thinking that they might be a bit more than some of the other options we looked at but we found a few different options and the prices were reasonable. Every single person we interacted with was super helpful answering questions, assisting us with our choices and helping us find the right tile and grout for us that was within our budget. Highly recommend and suggest stopping in here first would have saved us a lot of time!”

“Very fortunate to have discovered Wayland Kitchens. Not only do they sell/install cabinets, but they did my other renovation needs such as new floor, new window, tiling, etc. which is challenging to come by at a reasonable price in Metrowest. Heather was really helpful throughout the process and Noff addressed my many detailed questions. The crew, Tom and Nate, were super easy to have in the house. The craftsmanship is top quality. I’ll hire them again for other projects.”

“I worked with Pinnacle's designer Marcy. She was so amazing. She had great advice and a really good eye for what my new wetbar should have for cabinets and countertop. She helped me stay within my budget and the work was done quickly, and it was done right the first time! The finished product is nicer than I imagined.”

“I came across Vanity World in Canton and was very pleased with the outcome and the customer service I received there. From start to finish George worked with me through the process of choosing the right vanity for my bathroom. The quality of the vanity was excellent and the counter top was also made with perfection. I was also surprised that the vanity was completed sooner than the date given. This store has lots to choose from and you have options when it comes to different styles and colors. If you're looking for a top quality vanity that will last, you need to visit Vanity World.”

“My construction company purchases material at DBS Lumber in Roslindale. I recommend it highly to all local area building contractors. It’s convenient, well stocked, a real great resource. Also, they frequently custom order materials and will quickly bring them in. One of the best lumber yards in the entire Boston Area. Prices are good. Staff in the office and guys in the yard are real good to work with.”

“China Fair is a field trip to find everything you didn't realize you were missing in your kitchen but realize while there you should have had all along. Absolutely worth the visit and each one will probably consume more time than you planned on spending. We now have dinnerware that properly fits the new dishwasher, and I finally have a cast iron pan that makes my mother believe I actually know what I'm doing in the kitchen...”

“Higher end products. Not a place to find a bargain but great selection and pretty good customer service. Just don't try to return anything. Very strict return policy and they are adamant about it. No exceptions.”

“I love dealing with Boston Bath and used them twice for my shower/bathroom remodel. The first time, I consulted with Steve, who was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and who helped me choose shower fixtures. Because I had such a great experience, I went back there when I needed to replace a toilet for the remodel. Again, I dealt with Steve, who helped me match the color and sold me the best toilet for the price. It makes such a difference when you're making so many decisions to have somebody you know you can trust and who is going to go the distance to help you choose the best quality products. I highly recommend Boston Bath!”

“I was so happy with the recommendations by Tony to create my beautiful kitchen and then the follow up to fix a few minor things during the installment. He was on top of everything and when I had a minor issue almost a year later he came right out and fixed it. I love the customer service - Tony and Emily are fantastic.”

“These people are wonderful. 15 years ago, they renovated our kitchen and we loved their products, we loved the designer we had (Melissa Brown) and we loved their work. Last week, we had trouble with a drawer that didn't close properly. When we couldn't see what was wrong, I called Weston Kitchens. The OWNER of the firm came to the house the next day and fixed the problem. His assistant, Missy, showed a great deal of patience with us as I explained this relatively small problem. It's really hard to imagine better service.”

“Knife sharpening service was very good. It is a beautiful thing to have sharp knives again. And they taught how to maintain the edges in the interim. The store has lovely, high quality items for the kitchen too.”

“Olympia marble is a great family owned business. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I've read some of these reviews and I have to say I did not experience any problems. I went in for a bathroom redo, counters and tile a few thresholds and it all came out beautifully! No hassle's. Yes they wanted a deposit but that's normal in any business. I recommend Olympia Marble and Granite to everyone.”

“Love this place! Guys are always very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection and prices are very good for building materials. Selection isn't huge, but I have found great tile and laminate flooring for at least a dozen projects, so they do carry items that are on trend, not last seasons throw aways. Definitely worth checking out.I wrote the above review at least 6-7 years ago. Here is an update that I'm posting on 4.30.22.Selection of products def isn't what it used to be. No more sliding glass exterior doors. Very minimal selection of hardwood flooring. Prices aren't that competitive. I saw a bathroom fan there for $237 and Home Depot carries the same item for $170.I didn't see garbage disposals this time. No shower surround systems. No bathtubs to order. Used to love this store. Was somewhat disappointed today. Yes, I know that every business took a hit during the pandemic. Nonetheless, sad to see good stores go down in value and selection.”

“I can’t say enough great things about this store. All 3 women working here were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help...on the phone when I called ahead with questions, in the store when I had them pulling items from the back for me to look at, *and* they saved me a ton of money with the store card promotions. In a time when everything is going virtual, I can say 100% that the ability to see what I was getting before I purchased and the experience with this amazing staff really closed the sale for me. Fabulous job ladies ❤️”

“Ah, Ikea--the land of Swedish meatballs, affordable furniture, and the ultimate test of your relationship's endurance. Stepping into this labyrinth wonderland is like embarking on a quest to find the holy grail of home decor, except the grail is a $5 lamp and the quest involves navigating a maze the size of a small country. First things first, forget everything you thought you knew about space and time because once you set foot in Ikea, you're in an alternate universe where the laws of physics don't apply. Seriously, this place is massive. It's like they built a shopping mall and then decided to throw in a furniture store as an afterthought. And don't even get me started on the layout. Ikea's floor plan is like a twisted game of Tetris designed to make you question your sanity. You start off with good intentions, armed with a shopping list and a vague sense of direction, but within minutes you're wandering aimlessly through a sea of bookshelves, unable to tell your Billy from your Benno. Oh, and did I mention the arrows? Ikea is basically a giant game of follow-the-arrow, except the arrows seem to have a mind of their own, leading you down endless corridors and dead ends like a demented game of Shoots and Ladders. But fear not, brave shopper, for amidst the chaos and confusion lies hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Sure, you may lose your sense of direction and maybe even your sanity along the way, but isn't that all part of the Ikea experience? So grab a shopping cart, hold onto your Swedish meatballs, and prepare to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Who knows, you might even make it out with that $5 lamp you never knew you needed.”
