“I’ve been banking here for 14 or so years… when I initially opened up an account, I owned a small business, and was looking to open up a business account, I wasn’t happy with the bank I was at, and the previous year I changed banks twice. A teller from a different branch, was a customer of mine, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Long story, short, within the next six months, I moved over my personal account, then I convinced my girlfriend (now my wife,) to open an account there. I also suggested my HOA to move their account there; and are still there today. I didn’t make these suggestions, for any other reason than banking came up in conversation and I thought it was in their best interest, as I knew the experience I was having was beyond what I thought you could have in a bank, it was perfect.
I’ve had nothing but a positive experience; they’ve always gone above and beyond for me. I know my wife would say the same.
They always remember me and treat me like I am there most important Customer. So, even though I am far from wealthy, I’m treated like I’m important every time I go in. Any issue or question that arises, has always been promptly taken care of, always to my satisfaction.
The staff has, for the most part, turned over from when I first started banking here. That said, the staff is just as good.
They clearly have not only good training, but good hiring, and a good company culture. That all comes through once you interact with them.
I could go on and on with great things to say, interactions that have helped me, etc., but I’ll just leave with what I have written here, I think that sums it up, there is no need for me to get long-winded.
If you asked me prior to banking here, if Id ever rave about a bank online (or anywhere), I laugh, but here I am. I have been to a few other branches, although this review is directed at the Davis Square branch, as my experiences that other branches have been good, the only one I can truly write properly is this one, in Davis Square Somerville.
I also want to give a personal shout out to Kevin McMaster. Since I’ve been coming here, he’s had various positions at this branch (and I believe briefly at another branch?) He’s always gone above and beyond; he’s the perfect example of what an employee is, are they interact with you, and how they treat you at Rockland trust, IMHO.”
“What can I say about Suraj Rajbanshi, Assistant Service Manager at the ECSB in Somerville…He is simply the best employee who really cares about supporting the customers. He is knowledgeable, patient and very courteous. He took the necessary time to explain everything to customers in a clear fashion. He the employee I go to with my most important questions. “Only issue is you can't use the drive thru if you are not a member of the bank. I received a check from someone & went here to cash the check & I waited in the Drive thru line 4 cars, just to be told I'll have To go inside to cash a check if I'm not a member. Other then that everything went smoothly”
