Country Dog
1099 State Rd, WestportI started taking my dog here after a bad experience at another groomer. Stasia took good care of us. She is extremely talented, patient and compassionate with the dogs. I only wish we found her sooner. Definitely would recommend.

Pet Grooming

Boutique Pet Spa & Inn
295 Old County Rd, WestportBeen going there for about 4-5 years since we took in our rescue "Jake", Geri was great and has been the only person that had been able to groom him. Our first experience was with one of those "chain stores" and they got him checked in and that was it, I was still in the parking lot when they called me to come and pick him up"it wasn't possible to cut his hair today, you might want to consider putting him on meds first". So I asked around and I got Geri's name, he's still a little a nervous at drop off but we buy him in a cage until Geri is ready for him and that gives him time to settle down.

Pet Sitting & Training

New England Dog Training
522 American Legion Hwy, WestportOur girl Sadie was anxious all the time and barked at everything and everyone. Recall was not a word in her vocabulary and she would be the one to take us for a walk. That is, until we met Nick. He was absolutely incredible with Sadie and changed both Sadie's and our lives for the better. Within a few minutes he recognized her lack of confidence. After a few short weeks we went to pick up our girl and the change in her was amazing! She now has more confidence and is less anxious, her barking has subsided, she has great recall and we now walk together with loose leash heel. During her stay with Nick, he would send daily pictures, videos and updates keeping us connected to her and their progress together. If you are considering training for your dog, stop thinking and do it, you would be in excellent hands with Nick. He treats your dog like family! We mare beyond thrilled with our experience with Nick and New England dog training Company.

Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern
438 Main Rd, WestportGood service, drinks and food. My mother enjoyed her Prime Rib, and I enjoyed the local oysters and my rum cocktail. I hear some complaints about the ambiance, specifically that the indoor seats are downstairs next to the long bar. Personally, I find the downstairs cozy, with a fireplace and an old wooden ceiling. And when I'm eating and drinking, I don't need an outside view. But I get it. If you're here for an event, you will probably be upstairs with white tablecloths and plenty of light or maybe outside in the huge beautiful garden. But if you're just here for meatloaf and beer, then you're probably downstairs in the semi-basement bar restaurant area. I thought everything was fine, and I didn't mind the ambiance.
