“We came back from three weeks of vacation to find our house flooded from a broken pipe, which was pouring water from an upper floor over everything on the first floor and basement and had been for a long time. Dave came over same day and took eleven rugs to the ICU. They just came back today and Dave brought them back from the brink of death; even silk rugs that had bled, he washed the bleed out. Our 11x18 antique looks brand new (see below). Dave is the nicest guy, he helped roll the new rugs out in our new house. I'm so glad he helped rescue us from that disaster!”

“What a fabulous giftshop. I signed up for a class that was held in the back of the store. The class was to make a hand scorched cheese tray. Before class I had the chance to walk around the store and look at all the fabulous gifts. Staff was super nice and helpful when I had questions. They offer great hands on class all year...and a wide selection of cute gifts. I look forward to taking another class and buying gifts there...”

“I had an incredibly friendly and savvy design consultant. Hannah was very patient with my questions and uninformed knowledge of the quality and selection of furniture. I am 80 and a widower who decided to buy a new couch and chairs for the house. With Hannah great design knowledge and eye I made a selection and brought my daughter to the showroom for final opinion. My daughter was totally impressed with the choice of style and fabric. Hannah made me look good which is to say she honored my selection and gave me some helpful advice. I highly recommend her and the furniture is very well made without being overly expensive.”

“I had this window in my bathroom shower area. Why there is a window there I have no idea. Anyway I needed shutters there for privacy when needed.
Tyler & Sash knowledge was expensive they helped me design shutters for the window.
If you are looking for luxury and quality I recommend.

“I've known about Fitzgerald Tile as a great resource way back from years ago when they were located in Woburn and I needed a couple of tile projects done in 2000, and I have to say the newer location in North Reading is amazing in the setup and how the tile is displayed. Having both floor and walls showing good sizable areas using different tiles helps envision the final result. Also, I’d like to extend major kudos to Shawn Hugh, one of the design consultants who was extremely helpful honing in on what selections of tile, grout, accents, and edging would work best with my bathroom project. Looking forward to the new look once it’s installed.

“Custom Floor Design was terrific from start to finish. I found them online and did not have high expectations going there. I was wrong. The showroom was bright and very professional. And they had beautiful high end products. Our consultant, Kathy, was knowledgeable and very patient. She spent a long time with us as we were looking for an area rug. We could not decide that day, but went back and Kathy again showed us more. We purchased one outside our comfort zone because of Kathy. She was wonderful. Shipping and install was a dream. I cannot say enough about this company. A+!!”

“This store is very nicely set up and has great quality items for your home.. I would have gave the store 5 stars but they do not have a separate customer service line for returns and questions, you will have to wait on a long line that wraps around twice to get to the register after already waiting on the same very long line to make the purchase.. I'm returning my item because it did not come with all the items that was to be included in the box so I have to suffer on this long line once again.”

“On a rainy day in Spring 2024, I spent a couple lovely hours at the Sleep Number store in Burlington. Cristina was so patient while I acted like Goldilocks trying all the different beds. I actually nodded off while she was helping someone with a pillow purchase! We ended up buying a split top King and we still love the bed so much. I feel grateful every night that I have such a luxurious bed! Cristina helped me with the coupons and codes, and got the price to an affordable number for me. I went back for the cooling sheets (awesome) and my husband’s side sleeper pillow. We now own 5 Sleep Number beds in my family. Couldn’t recommend any higher!!!”

“I love, love, love Sandy. Her shop is the she-shed of the North Shore full of wonderful finds. When you walk in the door it's an immediate hug of warmth and charm. If you need a unique gift Sandy will help. You'll find vintage as well as new so there's truly something for everyone. Sandy also does custom champagne glasses for the absolute perfect shower or wedding gift. She's done multiple sets for me, which not only the mothers of the bride, but the brides and their bridesmaids went crazy over. She has also customized a set of Christmas wine glasses that I shipped to Florida and were very well received. I was told they were the tall of the couple's holiday party. If you're in the area it's a must to stop in. Sandy's fun bright spirit and her warmth alone are earth the stop?”

“This frame shop is employee owned! They go above and beyond the call of duty, personalizing the experience of framing in ways that are truly helpful. I can't tell you how many times I've shown up with something needing to be matted or framed, on a deadline for a show, and they've just helped me on the spot. Nobody does that anymore!
They are one of the only framing businesses that I have encountered that will do piece work- just one part of the framing process, like cutting a mat, or finishing off the back of a frame with paper and/or wire. They are flexible, accommodating, and exquisitely skilled. This is the only place I will ever go to frame my treasures!”

“I had been searching for chairs online for a few months and was really struggling to visualize the size despite having dimensions. I’ve also been a bit underwhelmed by some recent orders from West Elm and Crate & Barrel, so I narrowed my focus to AllModern and Room & Board, which seem to offer more consistent quality.
I didn’t even realize AllModern had a physical store, so when I found out the Lynnfield location was nearby, I decided to go in. It made such a difference being able to sit in the chairs, see the fabrics in person, compare options side by side, and get a real sense of scale.
The store itself is beautiful and spacious, and the experience was outstanding. Olivia, the store manager, was fantastic—she and an interior designer (it was actually his first day, but you’d never know it) gave me their full attention from the moment I walked in. They walked me through several options that fit what I was looking for, suggested fabrics, and put together a full quote on the spot.
It was one of the best in-store shopping experiences I’ve had in a while. I’m really pleased with what we selected and excited to see everything come together in the space. I would absolutely return to AllModern for future furniture needs—and specifically to this location. Great job all around.”
