“I took my kids into the downtown branch to open Benji’s Buddies savings accounts. Joe opened the accounts, was great with the kids and explained everything to them. They then saw Andrew at the front who deposited their money, and explained how the account works. They were thrilled to have their new savings accounts. What a great experience!”

The parking lot is a comfortable size and the branch is nice. The lot access is not as pleasant or clearly marked. Their sign is not easily seen from the street or large. I find that clear signage and access is important here as West Boylston St ,aka Rt 12 southbound here, is very heavily traveled and a headache to get to any of the businesses along this stretch of road if you aren't ready to exit. No powered doors or marked ramp, it's unmarked. I think the trees around this bank as nice as they are should be trimmed back for visibility.”

“I’ve been with this bank for almost 25 years. They used to be Commerce Bank, after transition to Berkshire Bank they maintained most of the qualities I really liked about Commerce, primarily their hours - amazingly stayed open until 7pm - until recently… now they close at 4pm Mon-Wed, and 5pm on Thu-Fri. This Park Ave branch is open on Sat until noon but the downtown branch on Main St. Is not. Unfortunately, this change took place but for the most part, so do my banking online so it’s not worth finding a new bank. Syrian The woman who was the manager for the longest time was amazing, Mrs. Wilke (I believe?) I loved her! The new manager that took over was nice as well, but he has since moved on. I do appreciate seeing familiar faces there, several workers have been there for years but I’ve noticed a lot more change and turnover since it became Berkshire Bank. I’m not sure if this is related to the change in ownership or timing with the pandemic, etc.? Either way, they’re phasing out the things that remained “Commerce” now and it definitely feels like a new bank. I’m mostly indifferent but this is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5… the changes. It used to be a 5, the change in hours dropped it to 3 stars, but their new online and mobile platforms bump it up to 4. If they would only dispense $10 bills from the ATM or allow you to choose which bills you want (like another well-known, over priced, red-tape National bank here in America) I’d bump it up to 5 stars.”

I have been in quite a few TD Banks in the Worcester area;
The problem is not the employees, the problem is the Bank's upper management...
I feel I've been robbed by my TD Bank in Park Ave. Worcester MA. I have been begging them for a resolution, and to all governmental agencies, to no avail!
I'm asking for solidarity, and compassion.
Today it is my life savings disappearing in a simple Wire Transfer, tomorrow it could be yours! ??
I'm doing this because I have run out of options.? and maybe I can prevent this from happening to others...”

“I would have given 5 but they annoyed me with a 10 day hold on a check I could have cashed elsewhere, then deposited as cash and avoided the hold. Why are you holding good checks? Is that common in banking? I’d give 3 stars over this inconvenience, but the managers were so polite and pleasant to deal with. Plan accordingly if you open a new account!”
“After visiting a few banks for quotes/promotion deals. A friend required me to visit Berkshire Bank. I was able to speak to Sonia Descormiers who happened to be an agent/VP. She was so helpful and explained to me every details of how HELOC program works. Finally, I was convinced and decided to go with her. She made the process so easy and my loan was process within 2 weeks. At closing, she made an appearance at closing to make sure that I understood every sheet of paper that i was signing. I couldn't asked for a better agent. Sonia Descormiers, gets a 10-STAR in my book. I would Highly recommend her service to anyone.
