“Shell station off I94 just east of Benton Harbor is easy on and easy off the freeway. Price matching on gas with the Pilot Station across the street keeps gas prices competitive. The convenience store selection is typical. Bathrooms a bit sketchy. One of the toilets in the women’s restroom was clogged. On the urinal in the men’s room, someone had thoughtfully stretched a condom across part of the fixture. People were using the manually operated wands at the car wash.”

“This place is freaking awesome. There’s a Chinese buffet and Burlington Coat Factory within walking distance. And they did a cash advance for free for me. I highly recommend taking a 34 hour reset here oh yeah and there’s a Walmart close by. But I wouldn’t do a lot of shopping because it is a little bit of a walk”

“Whoever is working the register by herself on April 20, 2026 at 5:50 pm during peak hours has the best attitude I have ever come across.. she should be in the corporate offices of pilot giving classes on customer service. She may be too good for this place.. every single customer was greeted like family and with respect. I have been driving trucks for 10 years and this is the first time I’ve ever wrote a review on a cashier.. this woman made my day better in 40 seconds.. she may be too good for a truck stop , she belongs on the payroll of a 5 start restaurant ..I mean seriously , the last thing I want to be doing is writing a review but she was that good. Even thanked me for my service.. pointed me to the spoons and when I asked if there were any burritos or egg rolls she said looked , realized it wasn’t , and immediately called the back to have them bring some up.. man they don’t make customer service like this … I mean seriously, there were 15 customers in line of all different races and genders and she greeted everyone like family.. she made each encounter feel special to that person.. im appalled … I’ve never seen this level of love for one’s job at a truck stop in my life.. 10/10 because of her”

“Don't let the slightly rough exterior of this shop deter you. This is an excellent, honest mechanic. He and his team work fast and charge fair prices. I was stranded, on the highway, a complete stranger, 3 hours from home, and managed to limp to this shop. The owner and his team, bent over backwards, even staying after closing, to diagnose the problem, hunt down and get the necessary part, and get me back on the road and home safely. I'm so thankful and so impressed! Wish I was local. They would be my new mechanics!”
