“Meijer has a super good cashier, her name is Carrie. My wife and I are regular shoppers every week, until last September when we found out that my wife has cancer. Cassie inquired as to why my wife was no longer with me, I told her because of her receiving chemo. I'm still a regular and Cassie inquires about my wife. The concern and love that Cassie has shown to my wife is truly heart warming. Thank you, Meijer for having such a wonderful young woman work for you.”
“Great experience here... Filled my cart full of groceries and checked out, when I went to pay for the items, I realized I had forgotten my wallet... I told the cashier and put my cart behind the counter... I went home and returned to Dollar General and paid for my items... This clerk is to be commended! She figured out a way to keep the store running smoothly without having to run my items thru the check out a second time... I believe she was the first shift manager... Thank God for her consideration and concern for her customers! This incident happened today, 04-20-2021... And, she was able to do this, help customers, stock shelves and deal with a disgruntled employee all at the same time... Good job Dollar General on your choice of employees...”
“Love this hidden gem. My daughter loves the larger frozen sausage patties that come in bulk. Hashbrown come in bulk that aren't frozen in one large clump. The prices of some of our favorite foods at meijer are just $.50 to $1 cheaper, and for people who prep food, they have prep containers and plastic Tupperware here. When my daughter graduates, we will probably go here for some of the large quantity items (they have frozen cookies, plastic cups, and silverware).”

“I had already been to one store for black eye peas. I went to Walmart in Benton Harbor, their frozen black eye peas were empty. I asked a very nice gentleman Johnathan. He checked his phone, said there were some in the back and that he would check. A few minutes later he came out with a box! Johnathan saved me a trip to another store. Walmart is lucky to have him as an employee! He's polite and helpful.”
