“Don't let the slightly rough exterior of this shop deter you. This is an excellent, honest mechanic. He and his team work fast and charge fair prices. I was stranded, on the highway, a complete stranger, 3 hours from home, and managed to limp to this shop. The owner and his team, bent over backwards, even staying after closing, to diagnose the problem, hunt down and get the necessary part, and get me back on the road and home safely. I'm so thankful and so impressed! Wish I was local. They would be my new mechanics!”

“Stopped at this BP neighborhood doesn't look too good but the people inside the BP gas station that run it are really nice and it cooked good wings and got great pizza plus so as long as you can deal with the scenery you're good”

“i had a really scrumptious cinnamon bun here for only 94 cents… it was really yummy and the staff were so nice… i wish i lived closer but unfortunately i was driving home from a road trip. i will come back one day for 94 cent cinnamon bun”
“Getting back in town late from working at a job site out of town this is usually the only store that's open, thank god, I usually see some entertaining people that late at night LOL”

“Becky and Wilona always take such care, asking about how im doing and making sure to they inform me of any deals/rewards on the items I am getting if I didn't notice. This is one of my favorite stops. Also the pizza is amazing!”
“Friendly people. New pumps in the last year my girlfriend likes them too she's always got a smile on her face when she comes back out to the truck.they have diet pop 2 liters in the cooler, diet mountain dew and diet 7 up. Only station I know that caters to diabetics”

“Just stopped through after djing a wedding in Dallas … on our long trip back to Grand Rapids! What a pleasant surprise to find this little gem of a Shell & Village Market! Met with the aroma of lavender and a freshly smelling shop and warmly greeted by Emily, Becky and Stephanie! My own personal welcoming comittee!! “I didn't have any problems filling up gas except that the pump was out of receipt paper. I was able to get one printed by the person running the register inside.”
“I've come to this truck stop for gas and food many times over the years. They have all the basic things you expect from a gas station, decent bathrooms, and I believe evem showers for the truckers. They sell their own brand of pizza, which is actually not bad. I'd even argue it's better than the pizza at Casey's General Store. If gas station food isn't your jam, there is a Wendy's attached. They used to be called Flying Jay, but changed the name to Pilot maybe a little less than 10 years ago. I think Flying Jay Truck Stops still exist but Pilot is owned by the same company. I only say it still exists because the pizza boxs say both names on the box. I will also say, they do tend to have fairly clean bathrooms and the staff has never been rude. I also like that they sell dvds here, as it's where I bought the bulk of my Criminal Minds dvds.”
