I can also spend hours there and find things that I can no where near afford and some things that I can afford. I also save up for a visit to Barnes Ace hardware because I can get things there that are not available at other Ace hardware. Whether we've lived in Ypsilanti, Dexter, and now Willis we still make several trips a year to our favorite hardware. And I felt the same about the old building years and years ago. “I run a light industrial shop down the road from this place. In the middle of a rush job on a Friday afternoon, a critical motor in my shop failed and I had that sinking feeling that comes before a long and painful wait for parts. To my surprise these guys had my replacement motor in stock for cheaper than I could find it online. Within a half hour I was back up and running. This is now my electric motor source. Thanks guys!”

“This is a great hardware store - the kind every town should have. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful folks. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll know who does. I’m a big time DIYer, and maker of many things. This store has kept a project going or bailed me out when I was short that one part I needed. But they also have a gift side of their store that my wife absolutely loves - the only hardware store she loves to visit. And she takes her friends from out of town to shop there. Unusual kitchen products, nice selection of one of a kind gifts, unique mugs and toys. Worth a visit in this quaint downtown area.”
